I arrived very early and although I couldn’t check in immediately my room was given housekeeping priority and ready 3 hours before the stated check in time. Spacious room with water view. Comfortable armchair that could be pulled to the huge window to watch the boats on the river and sea. Good wifi. Big bathroom with shower and bath. Good cocktails on the lunch/dinner menu. Hotel is very well priced for the quality.

    Kuching is clean, beautiful, hip and the people are genuinely kind and gracious by nature, from hotel staff, taxi drivers, patrons, and people on the street. For me, it combines the the cleanliness and efficiency of Singapore and a river walk of Melaka (but larger and cleaner) and a hip, artsy vibe like Ipoh and it is within a hour from incredible nature. I was impressed, and I want to visit again,.

    Bintulu town is a great place to visit.

    Bintulu town is a great place to visit. Been to the local beach in the evening after the visit to the Tumbina park. Few good malls we visited n did a bit shopping. Nice restaurants around town n not difficult to find them while driving around. Would like to stay at Similajau National Park once the park is open for overnight stay.

    Combination of classic/old town and modern living. The best thing in Sibu for me is the variety of food that you can have with cheap price! Of course my favorite is the Kampua Mee. If you love shopping, there's lot of shops where you can buy things for low price. But of course, the Sibu Night Market is the most attractive place for me.

    Each cave is different from another and rides to get to them on the long boats added interest and anticipation of what we would find. The Park is very organised with some guides offering more information than others. We are in our 60s, and were able to cover 3 cave excursions in the one and a half days we were there...unforgettable!

    Our visit to Santubong was a peaceful escape into nature’s beauty. Surrounded by lush green hills and set against the South China Sea, the area offers breathtaking views—especially during sunset at Damai Beach. The calm waves, golden skies, and majestic silhouette of Mount Santubong made it a perfect spot for reflection and photography. While we enjoyed the stunning scenery and relaxing atmosphere, some parts of the beach and resort surroundings could benefit from better maintenance to preserve the natural charm. Still, Santubong remains a wonderful destination for those who appreciate quiet moments, nature, and beautiful coastal landscapes.

    Small fishing village.

    Small fishing village. the beach at Roxy Beach Hotel (Canopy and Villa) was beautiful. But there is a sign warning people to swim at your own risk (because of jelly fish). I think one day overnight stay is suffix. Take the opportunity to drive further west to visit Kampong Teluk Melano - it is just about 1/2 hour drive away.

    A small walkable town. Very near airport and you can watch planes about to land and take off. Lots of kopitiam that served local food. When the weather is nice, one can enjoy the river breeze and view.

    1) Got UNiMas.I love it. 2) Night Market on weekend at Uptown area. 3) Many roundabout applied to avoid traffic jammed.In Setence area, got traffic light at straight road, also got roundabout to bypass the traffic light..these actually very funny thing and outoff box thinking but it's work to minimize traffic jammed in Kota Samarahan.Tq

    The downtown area has a great walkway by the river with many restaurants and shops. There are several tour companies offering tours of the many wildlife areas of Sarawak. Its a very pleasant area to relax and enjoy the Borneo culture.
