United StatesIt was so cozy and felt like a little cabin in the woods, but only a 10 minute walk from the ferry and from town. Very close to the bus stop to get you to so many wineries on the island. Would love to stay again!

New ZealandRay and Mikki were amazing hosts . From communication before hand to meeting them and having great chats about the beautiful property . The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the north western patio/deck is a great place to have a late afternoon wine , thanks guys . The heated blanket on bed was the final cherry on the top . Having ebikes was a bonus to being able to get around , as would it be to have a car . We believe buses are pretty close too .

The accommodation is within walking distance of both Mudbrick & Cable Bay so a great location. The Lodge is fabulous - very comfortable and 'home from home' with regards to everything you need. The beds were really comfy and entertainment area superb - we made great use of it with our friends who were staying in the other three 1-bed units next door.

New ZealandWe really enjoyed the warm welcome and chats with our friendly hosts Colin and Aitu. The two little dogs are well trained and a delight to see every morning. The place is very clean. To top it all off, Aitu's homemade breakfast is the best! We really appreciate the thoughts and care Colin and Aitu put into the place. Certainly will recommend this accommodation to others.

Waiheke is amazing there are lovely beaches to visit and great wineries and tours, every one we meet was super helpful. the bus service is great you can even visit wineries by getting a bus! Probably not a popular destination compared to others on the island,suited us though. Good range of shops. The Woolworths supermarket was a bonus as far as buying groceries for the motel room. The RSA is a friendly destination, and provided takeaway meals for the weary traveller to take back to their motel. Some nice fashion shops worth a look too. A minor hassle was the amount of road noise heard in the motel room (probably sounded louder with the motel being situated uphill a short distance from the road). Sensational location on the cliff. Everything very clean and all necessary things sufficiently available. The beds are good, very nicely furnished. Thanks to the host for the helpful tips. We were there at the beginning of April and it was not hot. In real summer it can heat up a lot as there are many windows. There is a mobile cooling unit in the living room (with a hose to the outside when the window is open. In the bedrooms only fan. It’s a beautiful place, the views, pool, spa and bbq area are all stunning, such a lovely spot. It’s easy to get around Waiheke from here, by bus as well, we went to Ostend, Oneroa etc and had great food and walks. We enjoyed everything and it was very tidy and clean. Close to regular buses going to Onetangi and other direction to Oneroa and ferry. Ostend has seating’up town’, shade under sail with tables and grass under foot,big interesting Saturday market,large RSA,Woolworths supermarket,clothing shop and interesting boutique style gift shop,several more and a petrol station and eating out places.It’s pleasant walking around paths off road, the odd local has put a seating bench outside front gate for the public- beautiful views of sea.Easy short walk to The Causeway and moored old quaint boats.Our family group came for family wedding, stayed at Waiheke Motel in four studios, Ostend.Awesome.Guest review byGabrielNew Zealand - 8.0

You get exactly what is shown and described. Wake up with a great ocean view, great deck to relax on, neat simple room and perfect for 2 people.
