Our family of 5, (3 teenage kids considered as adults), stayed for 6 nights. We spent 4 nights in the central district, close to Chinatown. Try to have some Food/Beverage at Restoran BANAFEE Seri Alam near TODAY's mall. One can buy fresh fruits and other necessary shopping at TODAY's mall nearby. Pharmacy shops are available nearby in walking distance, which is very good. Lived in Malaysia for 11 years now this was my first time to JB, I arrived in Singapore and took the coach to JB via the woodlands checkpoint and then onto JB central. This journey is not for the faint hearted going through the check points with luggage is no joke !!!! and at the wrong time of day you don't want to be caught in the mass amount of workers going back to JB from Singapore as there is literally hinders of people going through the checkpoint. And trying to go through with luggage and trying to get back on the bus at the other end is horrendous to say the least.
