We were looking for a place to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and having stayed at Rosewood in Vienna and amazed by it, decided to try it in Phuket.
Very nice decor, beautiful view, very attentive staff ( prepared a cake for us and a rose petals bath ).
The room is perfectly clean and nicely decorated, amazing view.
It's not as big as I imagined, but we stayed outside at the beach so it want an issue.
Nice cuisine at both restaurants and breakfast was something we really enjoyed every day.

My girlfriend and I booked the premier suite seaview and from the moment we arrived at the resort we were met with friendly helpful staff, and amazed by the views. Our apartment was more than we expected and decided to stay a day longer, even upgrading to a jacuzzi suite. Very spacious, clean and luxurious. I would recommend this resort to everyone ! They have it all and more. Great bar, friendly staff, taxi services and transport to and from the villas. Every sunset is now a special memory!
I liked the fact the breakfast was always fresh and had many thing to choose from, the whole table of fresh and juicy fruits was the best.
We stayed in a spacious and modern room, always clean and the staff was very friendly.
We rented a car so it was great to have a parking spot. We appreciated the staff there as well as they were always kind and helpful with us when we struggle to park our car.
The location is unreal. Specially for a room right on the water it is bliss. You can watch the sunset from your balcony. You can swim off the rocks in the front of the hotel but I recommend wearing reef shoes. The water is beautiful. I loved my stay and can not recommend it enough.
Plus it is such great value for money please don’t ever change.
Everything about this property is phenomenal. I could not have been to a better place with my wife and three kids. Highly recommended. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and willing to go out of their way for your comfort
Being a Muslim, the best thing was the availability of halal food. The breakfast buffet spread is scrumptious.
Location is super, hotel is beachfront and territory is big and clean with lots of pools. Rooms are clean, staff is super polite. Breakfasts are very varied and delicious. It was our second stay in this hotel and we will come back just in this hotel in Phuket.
We really enjoyed our stay at SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort.
The room was spacious and stylish, the pool was a real highlight, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Facilities throughout the resort were top-notch and well-maintained.
Room was amazing, facilities of the hotel are good and view is TOP. The hotel restaurant was higher of any expectation, very good food. Overall for Thailand very good services.

Sun (the manager) and his amazing team treat you like family instantly and you honestly feel that the hotel is your Thai home. My family and I will never forget the wonderful facilities, food and warm feeling we received from everybody at the Pacific Club.
My sons wanted me to mention Ron and Joso who made their stay by always stopping for a chat.
I could not recommend to a family a better hotel in Phuket. Each evening you can ask reception to organise a tuk tuk to take you to Karon main strip for a couple of pound and on a Tuesday and Friday there is a fantastic night market at the temple. Well worth checking out.
The best places to eat (apart from thd lovely menu at the hotel) are the tiny restaurants down the side streets. The ones with 2 or 3 tables and plastic chairs where you can see the chef. We ate some of the best food of our lives for unbelievable prices. Leaving a tip in these places goes a long way!

Kata is a lovely beach There are some expensive hotels that are directly fronting the beach and so their staff clean the beach each day. Beach chairs are available but not so many that they cannot be avoided if you just want to walk on the beach. At the time of year I was there the main activity was surfing at the southern end with many people taking lessons. Some nice cafes right on the beach at the southern end which is the nicest part.

There is a village feel to Kamala Beach, you can easily walk to shops, restaurants etc. Lots of local stalls for drinks, food, massages, sun loungers etc right on the beach. Later in the day beach volleyball is very popular - casual horseriding, jet skis, surfing and parasailing available. Some walkways/footpaths along the beach restaurant areas have been upgraded in the past 2 years - so much easier. There are now 3 supermarkets on the main road. This area is very popular with something for everyone. Our absolute favourite area in Phuket.

Go along where the restaurants and people are as it's the nicest there, or a tiny bit farther south along the shore. Closer to the airport and national park, the beach is very dirty and full of rubbish, although you can watch the airplanes take off. I loved eating at The Beach Restaurant Nai Yang. Right on the beach and reasonable prices.

Room for improvement to be clean and well organised to manage shops, restaurants, and massages to welcome tourists from around the world. Now is dirty not only because of trash from the waves but also on the beach with all shops - does not clean their own area.
Recommend Bangtao Beach from the middle up towards the north to Layan Beach.

I have been going to Rawai for 25 Years.
I have been going to Rawai for 25 Years. I even bought land there. Its great as there are many beaches and restaurants, with Nai Harn very close a 5 Star Beach.
There are many places of interest nearby, unfortunately Big Buddha is currently closed.
One thing to note now is that the Banks won't let you take money from your Debit Card, Credit cards are O.K though, but I don't use them. Every where uses cash so make sure you take plenty of cash to last for your holiday. The ATM machine withdrawals will cost you £10 a withdrawal with a limit of £200. Average Restaurant meal costs around £25 for 3 people inc. soft drinks.
I always hire a car, but services have improved with regular electric buses and always taxis/tuktuks,

We came to get away form Patong Town for the final days of our trip, so the location was not a problem for us as we were also close to the airport. We recommend a visit to Baan Ar-Joor - the food is lovely and the history is interesting.
