Amazing hotel! Everything was perfect. The room was nice and well-cleaned, and the location was beautiful with a wide, relaxing swimming pool. The staff were polite and efficient, and last but not least, the food was outstanding from breakfast to dinner. We had almost all our lunches and dinners at the hotel over four days, and every choice, whether fish or beef, was top-notch. Highly recommended for a return visit!

Very friendly staff, all English speakers. The Wi-Fi signal was very good, also no problems with water and electricity. The house cat and dog are lovely. Max and Elena are very nice hosts, providing us all necessary information for our stay. The breakfast is very good and they also make very nice cocktails.

    Marvelous It’s the best hotel I visited so far, words are not enough to explain the whole positive experience we had Hotel and stuff are simply perfect doing more than expected to make you feel like real queen ,from early accommodation at 05a.m.to huge clean rooms with everything inside Food is excellent and they are offering various dishes,both fish,meat,pasta,pizza,fresh salad and fruit,a huge desert options The spa experience is also perfect with real professionals working inside The pool is quite big and very clean with a lot of sun beds around The beach is white sand with azure water,very clean and nice It is a perfect place for honeymoon as well as couples with children I will definitely visit this hotel again Strongly recommended for anybody planning a trip to Zanzibar

    I love the clear water, and all the adventures of water sports that comes with it. The only problem is you can never take a peaceful walk without the interruption of the local dwellers trying to sell you something. It’s not so irritating as I understand they are trying to make earn a living too

    Activities are great but most places are teeming with tourists. It's probably better to be taken for activities privately (price will be about the same anyways). Better to book through existing tour operators because the freelance guides always add extra onto the price. Night Food market is a must but be careful not to be ripped off, they just handed you plates of food & then charged a ridiculous amount afterwards. Cape Town Fish Market is a must for a sunset dinner. Prison Island & Nakupenda was average, they were overrun with people. The Spice Farms & Slave Chambers are a must to understand the passed history & Coral Caves have stunning natural pools to swim in deep underground. The North has Mnemba Island, great for snorkeling. The East is windy & good for Kite Surfing. The South is supposed to be good for deepsea fishing but myself & another group only caught white Snapper, no Game Fish.

    Kiwengwa is a perfect place to spend time with the family. Exquisit nature, kind people and the best food. Boat trips, beach activities, village strolls, getting to know the culture of local people who are very knowlegeable about the natural agriculture and extreemly kind and nice.     Matemwe is ideal for relaxing and spending quality time with friends and family. Matemwe is near Mnemba island 🏝️ for swimming with dolphins 🐬 . We rode bicycles 🚲 around the village and the place felt very safe. There are few alternative places for lunch or dinner. Not too far from stone town.

    The location is great, just a minute from the ocean, there are a lot restaurants both expensive and very local ones, no issues with electricity, hot shower and air-con and the safe box. Card and cash payment is acceptable. Very safe to stay and walk around even at night, the owner is very kind and trustworthy. Very basic breakfast but it OK, no TV and fridge in the room, internet is breaking so often especially in the room, but it works perfectly at the balcony. It is very budget friendly and highly recommend it.

    Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable.
