- From $862.86 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 213 reviewsEveryone at Hotel Alameda was very friendly and accommodating. The location is great, the metro station 23st, 28st or 34st is about 10 to 15m walking distance from the hotel, The high line is right behind the building and Chelsea market is located at 15m walking, basically, you can find everything around the Hotel. The room was small, but clean and comfortable, was perfect for a couple that spent the time visiting the city. The hotel vibes are great, very cool, young and modern. Can’t wait to go back to NYC ✨ Thank you so much Hotel Alameda!Guest review byNádiaNorway
- From $604.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 3,331 reviewsLoved the decor, the thought and imagination that went into it all and loved the price because I did a lot of searching for hotel rooms in NYC and this was incredible value compared to most others. The room was lovely, the little balcony was great, coffee machine much appreciated and the actual telephone beside your actual bed which was actually answered when I used it to call reception - sadly you're normally directed to an app. So decor, quirkiness, comfort, human contact, all good.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom

Easy to get round. All information is easy accessible. The famous ‘sights are well worth visiting. OMG- food and drink. Bagels, pizza, taco’s, coffee of all descriptions in cool coffee establishments of all descriptions- NYC has it all! It never disappointed. We used the subway to get everything- it was so easy to navigate.Guest review byMcKnight - 4.0

The hotel felt very old and is not located in the best neighbourhood as there is a lot of rubbish in the streets and homeless old people which is so very sad to see especially in US (NYC is one of the richer city's in the world) but I was told this is normal... Only positive note, the staff were genuinely lovely and helpful throughout my stay. I’ve also heard it’s considered one of the better options in the Queens area.Guest review byDiyanaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Downtown Brooklyn was truly amazing.
Downtown Brooklyn was truly amazing. The food court had so many fantastic choices, and we enjoyed trying something different each time. This was our first holiday since my husband passed away, so it meant so much to me that my two young boys had the time of their lives. Brooklyn gave us not just great food and atmosphere, but precious memories we will always treasure. I highly recommend it for families.Guest review byKerishaUnited Kingdom - 2.0
By far the worst experience of my life!
By far the worst experience of my life! I've traveled around the world for the last 50 years, but I had never experienced such a terrible experience as I did at the Howard Johnson EWA ! I strongly recommend you eliminate that hotel from the listing!Guest review byHiro ShibuyaJapan - 4.0
Lack of parking was very frustrating.
Lack of parking was very frustrating. We drove around for literally an hour looking for a place to park on a Sunday. Lots everywhere were empty but there were no attendants or it was just places that you were not allowed to park like weekend closed business, even though there was plenty of parking available in their lot. And then to be out on the street where there is zero parking available it was unbelievably frustrating. We cut our trip short and left at 6:00 in the morning because I was afraid of my car getting towed on Monday morning. Street signs were vague and all of them had limited days as well as limited hours that you could park on those days and none of them without a parking permit. Nothing would bring me back to Jersey City. Nothing.Guest review byPaxton - 2.0
Bronx is a good place but the house and all the shenanigans...
Bronx is a good place but the house and all the shenanigans about no one picking the call but texting only. I thought it was a hotel not knowing it’s a house in some dark places in Bronx. I texted the person back that I’m not interested because I feel uncomfortable and have asked for a refund of $203. Shiiii….Guest review byPhilip - 8.0
