Boston is a wonderful, vibrant City.
Boston

Boston is a wonderful, vibrant City. My only complaint was my own fault for selecting a particular Driving Service to take me to a couple of specific locations for quick pictures with my camera phone--the famous Harvard University Gate & MIT Bldg. It was NOT a good experience! The Driver was or seemed to be arguing with someone on his cell phone during the entire ride, which made me a little nervous, and he did not want to circle the block to give me a chance to get out & get photos of the famous Harvard Gate & MIT (upper) Bldg front showing the name!!

This is an icon city; SO much history and culture!
Boston

This is an icon city; SO much history and culture! We shopped on Newbury Street and ate wonderful meals in The North End and Chinatown. We toured the USS Constitution which was very interesting and free! The Boston Common and Public Garden are a must see and you can catch a show right there in the Theatre District. Make time to walk through Faneuil Hall & Quincy Market. There are endless things to do in Boston and we will be back to explore more!

Boston is amazing.
Boston

Boston is amazing. We loved the walking tour of Freedom Trail the most. We ate at a french sidewalk cafe that was amazing called Cafe Sauvage for breakfast. Dinner at another french restaurant served duck breast that was absolutely delicious called LA Voile Kitchen. Dont miss the Boston Public Library or Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The North End is wonderful for Italian food. Carmelina's got us in for lunch and it was fantastic. Loved the Trinity Church (take the tour). Ho on Hop off Trolley was fun too..You get to see the whole city.Go inside Paul Reveres house,Old State House and the BEST was Old South Metting House..Do Not miss this presentation called Rukus. Boston is a very walkable town.

Just loved Boston!
Boston

Just loved Boston! An amazing city with very interesting history but also modern stories that visitors will love. I found Boston very pretty in September with the season just turning and enjoyed walking through the gardens. We had booked tours prior to arriving and found all tour guides were so professional with their knowledge and sites. There are many locations to eat and found somewhere each day whist walking. Walking history tours day and night are fun and different tour buses are available to get an idea of the city limits. Grab a map of Boston, go and explore.

Boston

LOVE Boston and Bostonians! Great food, lots of history, and good people! Be sure to check out Pauli’s for great clam chowder and a lobster roll, Mike’s Pastry for a cannoli, or a homemade pasta dinner. There are so many great places to eat in Boston whether you want seafood or an espresso martini!

First time visit to Boston.
Boston

First time visit to Boston. We chose to walk to destinations or use public transportation. Three nights wasn't quite enough time with so much to see. Walking the Freedom Trail with a guide was our first activity and tutorial of how to access the food tour the next day. The food tour in the North End was great, but be sure to arrive hungry. Afterwards, we accessed the T to reach the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and enjoyed tea in the garden restaurant.

I've taken my daughter to Boston twice now.
Boston

I've taken my daughter to Boston twice now. The first time we stayed for 8 nights, this last time was just a quick weekend getaway. There is so much to do with kids, and it's an incredibly family-friendly city. Beyond that though, the history of the city, and of the country, is so present it's almost overwhelming. Walking the streets where a handful of brave revolutionaries created what would become the greatest country in the world, it really so much into perspective. The landmarks and the museums and the way our nation's history is not just remembered and memorialized, but really woven into the culture of the city, it's breathtaking. My daughter is still at the age where the Museum of Ice Cream is more exciting than the Freedom Trail, but I hope if we continue to visit she'll get to experience the awe and wonder and inspiration that Boston has to offer.

Boston

Once you get into Boston, and you aren't responsible for driving, this city is great. Obviously there's a ton of history, but also plenty of shows, some great museums and a nice skyline with views of the bay. Boston is one part of what makes New England a nice place to live.
