Everything was perfect. Hotel looks very nice, very comfortable bed, staff was very friendly. We love it!

The hotel looks more like the stately home it once was, rather than a hotel, and the level of service and luxury matches its ambience. The care taken by the staff in making sure that my allergies were recognised and catered for was outstanding. The dinners were delicious, in a beautiful dining room overlooking the gardens. Breakfast buffet was magnificent and there was no need for lunches while viewing Bath. There is a bus stop, which is recommended, as parking in Bath is not easy. I drove to a hop-on, hop-off stop outside of Bath and then used that to tour.

Lovely place to stay in one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been. Right in between two of the most impressive things to see in Bath, and just a short walk (10 min tops) to the city centre where you can find the Roman Baths and the Abbey. The place was very clean and cozy, and the people were really nice and very attentive. We stayed one extra night with basically no prior notice, and there was no problem at all. They helped us a lot. Also, you will find a bunch of information about places to go and activities to do right inside the residence. Overall, it's a great place to stay.

Beautiful location and building

Location is great, very close to the city centre....amazing view...

The staff were most friendly and helpful. The pub restaurant was excellent. We loved the Sunday pizza night when all the other pubs in the area were not serving evening meals.

Everything was very good. The room was very large and spacious with a large and comfortable bed. The room was clean. The breakfast was very tasty. The owner of the hotel was very nice and made breakfast.It's not very far to the city center on foot. Just 18 minutes walk. If I ever come to Bath again, I will definitely stay here again.

Great central location just a few minutes walk from Bath centre. Superb, huge bathroom with great shower. Really cosy apartment. Superb value and would definitely book again.

Location, clean, had everything we needed

Fantastic food and very helpful

We had a room in the smallest category on the top floor and were very happy with it. It was cosy, well designed, with a functional bathroom that even Had a bathtub. We loved the little details like the record player, the doll house with the coffee maker and the snacks from the pantry. The staff at No. 15 was exceptionally helpful and kind. We even got a little surprise in our room because it was my birthday.

There was a vegetarian English breakfast was available, and it was very good.

Lovely old building, great staff, good food and fantastic location opposite train station. The receptionist was really friendly and professional, important for those of us away on our own. Felt really safe at this Hotel and look forward to staying again in future.

When you book accommodation in an establishment like this, you do so with the understanding that period buildings have their own character, and may lack some modern convenience. At the Roseate, there is no lift, instead a series of interwoven staircases, which will bait your curiosity. Fear not as the staff will happily assist you to get your luggage to your room and no matter which side of the building you reside you will be rewarded with a view of the Bath skyline and gardens. The locations is also to be celebrated. The Roman baths are a 10 minute walk via the Pulteney bridge. Back at the villa, food and drink can be found at the on-site restaurant.

Excellent value for money, very quiet

We stayed here for two nights, an excellent base for exploring Somerset. The welcome was warm and the staff were helpful and attentive. It was a truly memorable experience, living in an ancient residence with great comfort and excellent cuisine.
