We had needed a much relaxed night away after the few months of hell and wanted to use the pool and hot tub with some relaxation before attending an event that evening. The hot tub was extremely cold and had to be drained due to too much chlorine. The pool was also very cold and badly lit. This resulted in a very bad headache causing us not to attend a public event. The reception staff saw our bride/bridesmaid dressing gowns on our way down to the spa and sent a bottle of prosecco to the room. We were also given a shot with our dinner. The food was lovely.
