The room was beautiful, a good size and very clean, the batroom and shower was exceptional. It was a great location in the centre of Fowey, but still quiet. The breakfast was delicious.

Boutique hotel with a very small number of rooms in a historic building was out of sight; room was spacious and bedding including extraordinarily soft high thread count cotton sheets; bartender was friendly; receptionist was hugely helpful acting as concierge to answer all of my local questions; deck view of estuary mouth and English channel was awesome; complimentary smooth as water gin stored in a crystal decanter and tonic water was a fantastic surprise

We were greeted by Maize at the front desk who made our check in a breeze. She also gave us a great recommendation for dinner that was fantastic. I was also glad to see a bath mat was provided by the hotel for shower. At my age, this is very important as most bath/showers are very slippery. Also the hotel's breakfast was very good.
