The hotel is in an out of this world location and I may recommend it with caveats. The room was pretty nice, as the spa that was small but enjoyable. But I would come back to Lake District without a doubt.

Friendly, homely, good food, big room, renovated bathroom, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, especially Scott who served food. Property had character. We were in a separate building which I had no fore knowledge about until we arrived. However it was large and mainly comfortable.

Friendly staff, top-notch food, and lovely grounds made this a highlight of our family trip (2 teens + parents) to the UK. Serene escape from the bustle of Windermere. Make sure to book for dinner then watch sunset over the hills from the terrace!

As we entered the Summset House B&B, we had a lovely welcome from Geraldine. It's a lovely location to stay. Geraldine was helpful with the maps and helping us with the routes and the attraction places . We really love the room neat and clean. Breakfast choices were great, and you can have it in your room if you prefer. We would love to come again and will recommend it to my friends. All the best

An overall fantastic stay, with lovely and helpful staff members. The location is brilliant for exploring the local area and the facilities on offer make for a great stay if you want to just unwind at the hotel. We were able to add breakfast in bed for a small charge which we did each morning and it was always tasty and well presented. The hotel is quirky and relaxing and we would definitely recommend it

During our stay it rained continuously, so having access to the gym and spa was fantastic. It was well equipped with both free weights and machines. It was very clean, and the staff were friendly. The staff I met in the hotel were also very friendly, although I felt we had the space to come and go. Our room was spruced up daily. The river was a lovely backdrop to our stay and was both dramatic and relaxing in equal measure. In terms of location, it was a perfect base for all our trips throughout the week.

It was large and spacious. Lots of room to sit and relax inside and outside. Pool was a nice temp and not too busy in the evening when we used those facilities. Hot tub, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were lovely. Breakfast was the best. Lots of choice and cooked to order. Staff were pleasant and helpful especially the ladies in reception.

The staff here are really nice and very helpful. The lock on our door was faulty but was quickly fixed with a free bottle of wine for the inconvenience. Our room was spotless with the added bonus of a jacuzzi bath and lovely view of he gardens. We met a lovely lady called Sylvia who served us in the restaurant, very friendly and soo helpful.
