A Truly Heartfelt Stay in June From the moment we arrived, this lakeside hotel exceeded all expectations. Although we were late, the owner was eagerly waiting to welcome us. The property is clean, well-maintained, and has the warm feeling of a traditional Japanese home. Upon check-in, the owner kindly gave us a tour of the facilities, offered local snacks, shared transportation and dining information, and even provided coupons—truly everything we could think of (and more). He knows every route and attraction in the area, which was incredibly helpful as we love to explore on foot. We felt genuine care and hospitality from the heart. If I could give 10 stars, this would be the place. Before our stay, I informed the owner about our special needs, and he thoughtfully prepared extra futons in advance. I had expected to set them up myself, but he generously took care of everything. I also mentioned that it was the first visit to Japan for the senior in our family, and the owner went above and beyond—arranging for us to stay in a room with a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. That thoughtful gesture left a lasting impression. Another wonderful touch was the complimentary transportation the owner provided to and from the main bus station, which made our trip so much easier and stress-free. The onsen is a must-try. It is spotless, refreshing, and deeply relaxing. Soaking in the hot spring left my skin smooth and renewed—a highlight of our stay. Public baths are not common in my culture, but the owner made the experience so welcoming and comfortable. laundry machine, laundry powder, dryer, toiletries, everything you need is available. The meals are also highly recommended—simple yet delicious, served with care by the owner in a cozy dining hall. Just be sure to arrive on time to enjoy the full experience. This hotel is not just accommodation; it is hospitality at its finest. A stay here is filled with warmth, beauty, and unforgettable memories. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We got the dinner and breakfast package. The dinner was large and came with multiple courses. The food was incredible and we left the dinner super stuffed. The breakfast was slightly smaller and also came with multiple courses. Again, incredible food, and we greatly enjoyed it. The view, from what we were told, was incredible. However, due to weather, we were unable to see Mt. Fuji. This isn't to the hotel's detriment, it was just unlucky, but that's what happens with Mt. Fuji. The outdoor bath was very nice as well and was a very relaxing experience. The staff was super helpful and more than willing to assist us with any and everything we needed. They picked us up from Kawaguchiko Station, carried our bags up to our rooms, and greeted us when we came and left. They were very polite and kind.

The hotel is amazing. We had a hot bath which was perfect after a day of walking. The staff were very professional and friendly. The traditional breakfast and dinner (which was included in our booking) were an amazing experience. They bring you a lot of food and we ended up so full 😄 they have public and private onsen. We tried the private onsen and we recommend people to try it :) the view of Mt. Fuji and the lake on the roof is amazing. The room came with the tatami floor and the room was huge. 100% recommend

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. My boyfriend worked at 5-star hotels in the past and even he said the service at this hotel was impeccable. We were very lucky to see Mt Fuji from our room and the private onsen. We also loved the traditional Japanese room, the dinner and breakfast selection and being able to wear the yukata provided by the ryokan. Definitely the most authentic Japanese experience of our trip. We wish we had stayed longer than just one night. We will be back at this ryokan every time we visit Japan from now on.

Most comfortable futons we had in Japan, owner upgraded us to a larger room with a direct view of Mt Fuji for free since we were the only guests in the ryokan. Free hot drinks and the hottest onsen bath imaginable, really rejuvenating. Wonderful hospitality with free yukata loan, 360 views of the lake and mountain from the roof terrace, and the breakfast was delicious. Great facilities and good location.

Lovely ryokan with fuji views! The onsen and breakfast were highlights, as well as the experience of staying in a traditional room with tatami mats and the futon bed. The location is a bit out of the main town but its only a short walk. Easy to get to via public transport from Tokyo too. The staff were very responsive and helpful.

Excellent place to stay and relax. Each of the rooms have an outdoor onsen bath, and an indoor wet room with a bathtub and shower. The futons are placed on tatami mats. You are provided pajamas to sleep and Yukata to walk around the Ryokan and the area if you want to. The dinner and breakfast are Kaiseki style.

Location right by the Yagizaki Parc, on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, but most important with an absolutely stunning view on the Mount Fuji. Hotel is designed like a Ryokan: rooms with Tatami mats, comfortable futons as beds, shared bathrooms with small Onsen, optional breakfast (changes by day between Japanese and western style).
