Nice place to visit except Best Holidays rented an apartment to us which had problems with cockroaches. They wanted to fumigate the place while we were there but this is not what we signed up for. This is a lovely place to visit as it has its quiet areas as well as the more lively bars and discos. This is a place that can suit different ages and group sizes. It was our first visit to Corralejo and we weren't disappointed. There was something to do for everyone in the family: good beaches, reasonably priced restaurants and bars (most of them by the sea), lots of shops and markets, street entertainment, day trips and good walking opportunities. Corralejo is a custom built holiday resort that therefore has all you would need for a stay in the sun.. However it has no real culture. That said, the restaurants, bars, beaches and bars are all conveniently spread across the resort. Plenty for children too.. My wife and I enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wonderful apartment.. Our host Clara by message on the Booking.com app was at all time responsive and effective for all our needs. Good age range suitable for older travelers and young families. Safe and lots of places to eat done, eat or be entertained. Great climate mid 20s although windy and cooler in evenings. Enjoyed Music Square, Rock Cafe and Nine pints for entertainment. Had good meals everywhere and great cocktails in Anno 2011. Happy hour 4-5 and favourite cocktail “After 7” or something similar to that name. Baileys, amaretto, coffee and cream and two for €7 during happy hour absolute bargain. It was also spotless and had everything an apartment needs. Air-con was essential and very good. The hosts were charming and very helpful. I scored the facilities a star down because this is not a full service hotel. HOWEVER, within 100 metres of our front door were at least 6 pubs (most serving great food) and 3 of those were on the beach!!!. The beach is 15 steps from the front gate.
