Doric Eco Boutique Resort & Spa - Sicily, hotel in Agrigento

Featuring a garden with a free outdoor pool, Doric Eco Boutique Resort & Spa is 2 km from the UNESCO-protected Valley of the Temples.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with a stunning view of the valley, ocean and the Temple of Juno. The design esthetic is beautiful, we had a room with our own dipping pool and a view. It was lovely. The common area - pool - and grounds are beautifully done. It is a place you will enjoy spending time at, after a long hot day visiting the Valley of Temples which is only a five minute drive away. The food from breakfast, lunch and dinner was all exceptional. We would recommend doing one of the taster menus with wine. And the spa, which you can book privately, was fantastic and highly worth it.

If you like ancient ruins you will like visiting the Valley of the Temples near Agrigento. Agrigento itself was a delight to be in on a Saturday night. We had a great meal, wandered the street while people-watching, did a little shopping. Enjoyed the evening immensely.

An incredible city full of history that is impossible to absorb with only one visit. The Valley of Temples is breathtaking, and leaves a visitor in awe of its rich past. This is my second visit to Agrigento, but it’s never enough because there is so much to learn and appreciate here.

Agrigento has many historical places to visit e.g. the Cathedral and it is near by The Valley of the Temples. Food is good and the centre is cosy. Agrigento is a city to walk quite a few stairs and small alleys, be prepared to walk!!! It is worth a visit!

I have been to Agrigento several times, it is always a great please to go back. This time I also visited the Kolymbetra gardens and Pirandello"s house in Caos, both places exceeded my expectations

We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace.

We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace. There was a refresment waiting for us (coffe, juice, water, small cake). Room was clean, nice smell. But we spent there a night in January and the heating was not working. I wanted to reheat by warm shower, but there was not enought hot water to even wash my hair. I was frozen and catch a cold over the night. The bed was very noisy with each small move. The window was oposite to a building, very dark inside. All I will remember is dark and cold room. Shell I add how long we were looking for a place to park the car in those tiny streets?

The staff, especially Salvatore, are gracious, helpful and fun to talk to. The facility is beautiful and I wish we could have stayed longer. We were there traveling through Sicily and wanted to see the valley of the temples - which is close by and you can actually see from the property. Breakfast was fantastic - all homemade and like everything else, the service was excellent. The dogs, and peacocks and birds added to our enjoyment. There would be no point in staying anywhere else in the Agrigento area.

Wow! I don't usually leave reviews, but both Casa Tita and Fabio and Alessandro are so fabulous. Their welcome is so generous and helpful, and I was genuinely embarrassed by the incredible breakfast they had prepared for us ( local foods, specialties, and treats). I would welcome them to stay with us as friends, but who would leave the life in Sicily for the rain in England for a holiday? Great accommodation, spotlessly clean, warm (important in February) and attention to detail

The view is just INCREDIBLE!! All the personel is amazingly nice and willing to help and give highly qualitative advice to make the moment in Agregento / Sicily great and very personal. The swiming pool is a blessing with such a weather (view on the temple + view on the beautiful hotel depending on where you seat). The breakfast is so fantastic, appealing and tasty! I would warm heartdly recommend Villa Athena for a luxurious (and not at all ostensible) experience

Krysos Luxury Rooms were our best stay in Sicily, by far. Andrea is taking care of every single detail to make his guests feel comfortable. He helped us with the parking, he gave us very useful information about where to park for visiting sites, and also good recommendations for restaurants. The apartment was spotless clean, well appointed, quiet, and it looks better in reality compared with the pictures.

Casa Tita was by far the best place we stayed at during our Sicilian trip. Fabio and Sandro were great host that put fabulous breakfasts everyday even on our last day where we had to leave early to catch our flight. My kids helped Sandro feed the stray cats (yes there are many) while we were discussing life in Sicily or our day plans with Fabio. Thanks for making our stop in Agrigento memorable.
