Extremely quiet. Great view of the bay. The little dog in reception area was cute. The hostess was very friendly and tolerated my bad Italian. Huge room with comfortable bed and pillows. Hot shower. Good TV. Plenty of secure parking. Early check-in. Only 20 mins to airport. 20 mins from Vesuvius.

We stayed in the Deluxe Suite with a stunning sea view, featuring a gorgeous terrace that offered perfect vistas of Mount Vesuvius, the Island of Capri, and the City of Naples. The breakfast was excellent, the internet was fast, and the hammam was delightful. Our host, Catarina, was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The ambiance felt like an ancient palazzo, with a magnificent bathroom and impeccably chosen interior decor.
The cute dog of the house Tobia makes everybody smile :-)

The architecture of the building was incredible. Absolutely stunning inside. Loved the drapes, furnishings and decor. It was great that we were so well placed to visit the archaeological site of Erculano. We spent many hours wandering around this beautiful historical site, which is so well preserved and gives visitors an opportunity to observe what life would have been for the people of Erculano before Mount Vesuvias erupted.
Francesca and Theresa looked after us so well.
Thank you, Francesca, for your expert knowledge and the advice you gave us over the best way to get to Maiori. It was just so easy, train to Salerno, Ferry from Salerno to Maiori.
Thank you, Theresa, for your hospitality, you made us so welcome. The breakfasts every morning we're so tasty and inviting. Thank you for recommending the restaurant. We had a lovely evening. It was great being able to have a conversation with you via the app on your phone. You just went out of the way to make our stay very special. We felt sad leaving.
A great start to our Amalfi holiday. ♥️

Excellent price-quality ratio, perfect cleanliness, the room had everything you needed, the balcony overlooks both the sea and Vesuvius. Thanks to the staff for their care and recommendations for our trip. The breakfasts were amazing, scrambled eggs, cappuccino and incredibly delicious croissants, and sincere conversations with you guys gave a charge of positive emotions for the whole day
The ruins were fantastic. There is also the Teatro Antico, which is still underground. We missed out on this as we didn't find out about it until we got there. They only admit small groups at a time and it was fully booked. Tickets are available from the Herculaneum entrance or on the Ticket One website, so you really need to book on advance. There is a virtual Archaeological museum in the town. This includes a short 3D film about Vesuvius, the opportunity to fly a virtual drone and a VR experience of walking round one of the palace gardens. Ideal for kids and teens! The museum is screen based about Herculaneum ruins and does not include actual discoveries from the site.
For visiting the surrounding areas, trains into Naples are regular, as are trains to Pompeii (but you have to change - the ticket man didn't tell us this!). Don't miss the chance to wander round the actual town of Pompei. It was beautiful! In fact, next time I would choose to stay there over Ercolano or Naples!

My grandchild suggests we would have been better staying in Pompeii and travelling to Ercolano one day. I had decided to follow what my neighbour suggested, based on taking a younger child to southern Italy.

We spent one night in Ercolano to visit the ruins of Herculaneum and break up our trip to the Amalfi Coast. The ruins are a must-see and you can experience authentic Naples pizza at RO.VI. We also enjoyed espresso and drinks at the Herculaneum Cafe. I'm not sure what you'd do here for more than a day or two, but the ruins and authentic cuisine were definitely worth our time!

The apartment was very nice and people of Ercolano very friendly. They really drive like crazy, but that is their way of life. Train station is really near the apartment and best option to reach Napoli, Pompei, Sorrento...

Ercolano is a small town nearby Vesuvio, which can be seen from most everywhere, Naples bay also is lovely and is seen from most of the places in the town. You can easily find nice fish, pizza, fast food and traditional local restaurants in 10-15 min walk. There is a nice but small botanical garden in the territory of the local university. They also have a park of mandarins/tangerines which you can pick up for free.
The ruins of Ercolano/Herculaneum exceeded our expectations! It is not overcrowded as Pompei, the territory you can walk through in 1-1.5 hours, moreover, some buildings are in better condition ... we liked it.
We were able to communicate easily in English with the manager.
We were met by three gentlemen to show us the car park and assist us with bags to our room.
The hotel includes a modern decor within a historical building located close to restaurants, shops and the archaeological park.
The room had a great view of the golden mile and mount Vesuvius.
The manager gave a pleasant overview of the buildings history, how to use their WIfi and online catalogue to nearby services..
Flora was great and had a very cheerful personality. We only spent one night to see Herculaneum ruins the day we came in and the Pompeii ruins the day we left. Easy 5 minute walk to Herculaneum ruins with a nice pizza place on the way. 15 minute walk to beach bars to see the sunset. Good restaurants close by. There was a nice terrace on the property.
Very good location to experience real Italian village life! Lots of good restaurants near by, close to Vesuvio volcano and Ercolano archeological site! train station in 5 minutes of walk, so you can visit all Amalfi coast by train! Clean rooms, good air conditioning, very nice and helpful host! Recommend to everyone, 10 out of 10!
The hotel is right on the opposite side of Hetculaneum and it is a 10-minute downhill walk from Ercolano Scavi Circumvesuviana station. The hotel is very pleasant, the staff is very nice and the breakfast is hearty, delucious amd very well organized. We had a lovely night here, thank you.
Location is great: close to Herculaneum, local train station. It was very easy to visit Naples, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Sorrento…The hotel is located in a very old building, but the rooms are renovated recently: very modern and clean. I highly recommend staying at Villa Cua!
The house is so nice, clean, and just perfect for our stay. The place are near the train station and to grocery store, restaurants, bars, market and to the tourist spots. The host are very accommodating and nice. The people in the area were nice and happy people.
Very good value for your money. This place is a humble yet very comfortable hotel, super clean and staff very friendly. The location is great and there is a nearby restaurant called Messa Luna that is delicious, recomendacion from the hotel 👌
Ercolano ruins a few minutes walk and easy drive to Mt vesuvio. Swimming pool. premise parking a big plus. Staff was excellent. So nice and very helpful. Building is beautiful and the grounds as well. I would recommend for sure
It was a good location within a short walk to the Herculaneum. Also near a few restaurants within a 10 min walk also. Emanuele met us nearby the location on the first day and got us to the apartment and was very helpful!
Spacious room (suite). Good to escape the heat with the family without being stuck in a usual small hotel room. Special environment with the wall paintings etc. Walking distance to train stations & Herculaneum ruins.
Hotel is well kept with very good selection of facilities. Excellent waterfront view from our balcony. Convenient, quiet location, and easy to get to if you want to be close to Naples but stay away from the hustle
The location of the hotel is excellent. It'a halfway between the railway station and the Herculaneum ruins, both of them are within a 5-minute walk. The owner is very helpful, ha gave us lots of useful advice.
Location is good loads of nice bars, restaurants and shops all around in Portici and Ercolano. Food in the restaurant was excellent also. Herculaneum site within 15 minutes walking distance which was perfect.
If you want to live few days in the south of Italie, go to Antonio's guest house. Thank you dear Antonio, we where at home in your beautiful house
100 mètres far from Ercolano SCAVI ....
Very handy location near Herculaneum ruins and local train line to Pompeii and Naples. Big rooms with aircon. Friendly and helpful host. Quiet area at night but close for shops and cafes.
the location is great! It’s across the street from Herculaneum, not too far from Pompeii, and there’s a wonderful black sand (lava) beach 10 minutes from the hotel.
The hotel has a nice terasse.
The location was perfect with regard to the excavation site in Ercolano and also close to the train station (to Pompeji/ Naples).
