Easy to find and check in.
Friendly polite staff, but unfortunately for me the place was having a total renovation, so no restaurant for breakfast or evening meal was available to me.
However i was informed of the local coffee shops and pubs by the staff, and are only a 5 minute walk if that!
I found a beautiful pub called "Ye Olde Bakers Arms" and recommend a visit. Food and drink was spot on!
The room back in the hotel was a little tried, as I was but a very comfortable bed which gave me a great night sleep.
Once the renovation are finished I am sure this place will be a great place to stay.
I will visit again when I'm back in the area.

Comfort in the room, closeness to the town centre.
Multicultural Leicester has a vibrant feel, partly due to the large student population of De Montfort and Leicester universities. The latter lines Victoria Park, whereas Abbey Park covers both banks of the River Soar and houses ruins of a 12th-century abbey that was the burial site of Cardinal Wolsey.
Richard III was also buried in the city and a commemorative statue sits in Castle Gardens, by the Newarke Houses Museum and St Mary de Castro Church. St Nicholas Church overlooks the Jewry Wall Roman bath remains, while the tall-spired cathedral is next to the half-timbered, medieval guildhall.
Nearby are the Highcross and Haymarket shopping centres, as well as Leicester Market – Europe’s largest outdoor covered market. The city centre is packed with restaurants and bars, and the Golden Mile of Belgrave Road has a wealth of curry houses and jewellery stores. It also hosts the largest Diwali celebrations outside India.
Other entertainment venues are Upper Brown Street and the futuristic-looking Curve Theatre. Equally modern in design is the National Space Centre, while the National Gas Museum is near King Power Stadium, home of Leicester City FC. Leicestershire Golf Course is one of 8 surrounding the city.
The Leicester accommodation on Booking.com includes luxury hotels with spas, guest houses near the train station and cheap inns with parking.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The people in Leicester were very friendly and there were plenty of shops and a good variety of cafes. I went to Leicester to visit King Richard’s grave and the people at the cathedral were very helpful

Leicester is an everyday English town.
Leicester is an everyday English town. It might be a city, I don't know, but that's probably semantics. It's really nothing at all to want to visit. I suppose if you live there it's functional, just like a broken kettle can still hold water, but it's not a 'place to visit', which probably sums up most places to be fair. There's not a lot else to say, really. If you have a reason to go, you'll go but it is overshadowed by bigger and better e.g. Nottingham, Birmingham, Coventry, Peterborough.

Leicester is a vibrant place, outstanding for the great mix of races and cultures that happily coexist in the city. There is so much to do and see, we enjoyed the New Walk Museum, Mexican fiesta in Silver Street and a wonderful authentic Turkish meal at Nazar in Evington Village this visit. There are lovely parks, and a walk in Bradgate park is a must, better still climb up to ‘Old John’ if you’re able. A good natured fun city, love to visit anytime.

Visit the Cathedral, King Richard visitor center.
Visit the Cathedral, King Richard visitor center. If you like ethnic food then you will find nowhere in UK more diverse. Visit the beautiful countryside, Bradgate Park and Foxton Locks. Do a walking tour of the City, a lot of history here.
Like any inner City, stay away from downtown at night if you're on your own.

I have been to this hotel many times and enjoyed friendly team of all the staffs and the choices of breakfast.inclusive of the the comfort of the room. As the kitchen and other areas were in process of improvement. Having vegetarian diet I enjoyed and highly recommend South Indian food and friendly staff. There is also Bhojalram Sweet mart where I do my delicious take away savoury & sweet dishes purchase.
Staff couldn't do more to help you. Excellent location for city centre (10-15min walk) or King Power Stadium (10min walk). Convenient parking when pre-booked. The look and feel of this hotel is much ££ than the actual cost we paid. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice. Bed really comfy and shower powerful. Loved the newspaper with information about the local area etc. There's a night menu for room service if you want it.
Little gem in the nicest area of Leicester, restaurants and bars in walking distance. Visiting a friend who lives locally so will come again. Room was clean, bright and tastefully decorated, STUNNING bathroom.
The staff were attentive and helpful, the coffee in the adjoining cafe was delicious. Easy parking was the initial ‘pull’ to booking St Martins compared with other nearby hotels, very satisfied all round.
I have stayed at the Belmont on several occasions, this time in an executive double room which was spacious, with a large bed and good facilities. This is a comfortable, clean and well-managed hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Its location is excellent, close both to the railway station and to the city centre. The breakfasts are also very good. I like the Belmomt and strongly recommend it.
This is a superb hotel - really can't be faulted. Super chic and really high level of cleanliness and decor. Excellent city centre location within walking distance of everywhere I needed to be. Free car parking for guests too, and full concierge service to sort out any issues. On top of all that, incredible value for money.
The room was clean the staircases and landings were clean and smelled fresh. There was a good window of time for checking in and check out was plenty late enough. Hotel is very close to city centre, short walk from train and bus station and shops. Room away from the main road was quiet.
The location is very good. City centre with Leicester market and shopping area around. There is no staff at the hotel but daily cleaners come and emergency contact number is available. Kitchen facility is good specially when u stay for work for more than week.
I liked staying there it was almost as good as having my own city centre place....it certainly was quieter than staying in a hotel...there was enough of everything so I could live there happily for a couple of days....I would use it again
Lovely modern and clean hotel, great location only short walk to city centre and surprising very quiet considering it’s located on a busy roundabout. Smart bar and restaurant aswell, great value for money, would stay again.
Budget B & B, good value. Room was adequate and clean, shower satisfactory with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was v.good and unrushed. Location ideal for either visit to Leicester city centre or out of town activities.
Great location right in the city centre. Very helpful hosts. Easy access, comfy beds, luxurious spotlessly clean apartment. Would stay here again. Good value for two people, even better if there are four.
A few members of the staff were warm and helpful. The room allotted to us was nice, and the hotel is located in a very prime location, close to the city centre and other important places of interest.
Good location for cricket, rugby or football with Tigers, Leicester City and Grace Road all walkable or short bus/taxi rides away. Ditto City Centre. Decent accommodation with a parking space.
Cleanliness, the location is wonderful close from everything & right in the middle of city centre. Staff are friendly. I really enjoyed my stay & actually extended it!
