Our stay was amazing! The value for the money is great - the hotel is located in a good place, 10 minutes walking from the center of Malaga. The hotel was clean and the daily cleaning was included. The staff was kind and informing. We arrived with a car rental and parked our car in the street in front of the hotel or in the neighbouring streets every day. The public parking is free from 8 PM and 9 AM, which was great.

Soho Boutique Urban, hotel in Málaga

Attractively located in Málaga, Soho Boutique Urban provides 3-star accommodation close to La Malagueta Beach and San Andres Beach.

In the middle of downtown, a smaller hotel between residential buildings, near to one of Malaga's main road (with couple of bus stops, bus "A" stops here, comes directly from the Airport ), next to the Parque. We had a smaller room with two comfy single beds and a cot. The coffee maker was a pleasant surprise, refilled every day. Staff was verry helpful, they helped us how to pay directly a parking ticket (to avoid a 90EUR fee)

FAQs about hotels in Málaga

The Colourful Soul of the Costa del Sol

The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.

There’'s also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. The white stone tower of the Malaga Cathedral rises up in the heart of the city centre, and offers an interesting respite from sun bathing on the magnificent and popular beaches.

A more modern history can be appreciated by visiting the birthplace of Picasso and a museum full of exhibitions by Malaga’s most famous resident. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 10 km from the centre of town.

From budget hostels to 5-star luxury hotels, with Booking.com you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation for your sunny holiday.

We had a great time at this apartment.

We had a great time at this apartment. The location was perfect, and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Not sure it would be appropriate for 4 adults. Stayed for 9 nights and the bed linen and towels were changed during that time, along with cleaning if required, which was most welcomed. The terrace was lovely and so private, and right in the heart of the town everything was within easy reach. The reception staff were very courteous and kept in touch regarding the linen change. Visited Malaga on a few occasions and would definitely recommend iloftmalaga for their service and standards.

Pros: Central location close to all major Malaga attractions. Clean. Helpful staff. Cons, but not dealbreakers: Coffee is bad. They use a Nespresso machine but the choice of pods is limited. Breakfast not so appetizing. Bananas were green, cheese and meats were mostly stale, limited options for warm meals. But the guys running it were smiling at all time, and very fast to respond. Maybe invite a lady to help out in the kitchen? Doors make loud noise when closed, so you will hear them at night when people return. Ear plugs did not help. Carpet smells musty, so I had to ask the cleaning lady to deodorize almost every day. Consider replacing carpets with tiles or laminated hardwood. The choice for wall color is a bit depressing. Dark grey with black accents in the room. Feels like you are at Morgue. In the end, these are all minor observations, as we did have a great stay.

Excellent room, with shared kitchen. The patio area was an excellent bonus. There are restaurants nearby and two large supermarkets. To get to the main tourist attractions, Cathedral, Picasso museum, Alcazab, Malaga Museum, Old Town, use the buses outside the accommodation. For transport to and from the airport, bus station, and main railway station, use the excellent Metro. The metro as yet doesn't serve the main tourists attractions, about 2kms away. Recommended this accommodation.

The hotel is in the Soho area of Malaga, which feels like it’s at the beginning of becoming up and coming. It’s not in the busiest area, so you get the piece of being away with only a 5 minute walk to either the old town or the beach. The best thing about this hotel were the staff. Everyone from the reception to the cleaning staff were very friendly, warm and welcoming. The second best thing was the air con! But we did go in August.

Can't really fault this hotel, the location is excellent for malaga old town and the main commercial street. We didn't take breakfast in the hotel but there are 3 cafes within a 5min walk. There are also numerous bars in the area too. The room was very tastefully decorated, well proportioned. The bathroom modern and exceptionally clean. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The hotel was even nicer than I imagined. The rooms were tidy and comfortable - the ocean view was amazing, the jacuzzi and Honesty Bar were great on the rooftop and the restaurant was excellent, so glad we had breakfast included. This hotel stands out from other places on the beach in Malaga from the research I did - it was so cozy, charming and more elevated than I realized it would be :)
