Super friendly host. She picked us up from the parking place to go to the apartment. An experience itself.
After Michaela prepared the best Italian dinner I ever had.
Also the breakfast was also very good.

We enjoyed the stay very much and would definately recommend the stay to other people. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was lovely with a kitchenette and lots of storage space, we had a balcony to sit and have a quiet drink while taking in the beauty of Lake Como. We ate in several places and had a great speedboat trip to view some of the other villages on the lake, Walking was good, the hills were quite steep, so you do what you can and go back. We we're suppose to have a rental car, but after some bad...
We we're suppose to have a rental car, but after some bad luck we ended up moving with public transportation with which Faggeto Lario is not impossible, but a bit difficult to reach. There are not too many restaurants (we counted three) and no grocery store. Views are very beautiful though and the ferry ride from Como was also very beautiful. This is a beautiful small village where you can enjoy silence and peace.SaaraFinland - 10Scored 10

It's a beautiful spot, placed on several different levels on the hill. On Thursday morning there is a market in Molina (do go there if you want fresh fruit, cheese, meet or other goods); It's small, but really worth seeing! A small village on the eastern bank of the western “leg” of lake Como. Great beach club and nice restaurant and for access to the rest of the lake, it is on the (not very frequent) ferry route around the lake. Lots to do on the lake itself.

And could feel an Italian atmosphere inside the house: It's cosy and at the same time one can find everything needed for a comfortable living there. Free parking place nearby and a restaurant with tasty national food. Alessandra is a perfect host - she was kind and gave really nice recommendations on the places to visit near the Como lake. If you desire something memorable on a vacation then Faggeto Lario is the place to go!)
