Shippon Barn is superb. It was spotlessly clean and had an extremely well equipped kitchen. The rooms were tastefully decorated, warm and very cosy. The beds were very comfortable. We all, young and old had a great night's sleep. The location was excellent with easy access to the shops and a pub nearby. It was only a short drive to the coast. The Hot Tub was a very welcome bonus. In short we would highly recommend the 'Shippon Barn'. We are planning to return which rather says it all.

Beautiful room with a view ,excellent food, lovely location ,fabulous terrace and lots of nice little touches -binoculars in the room ,blankets on the terrace and a great selection of newspapers.

Within a minute’s walk of the famous ‘ferry across the Mersey’, The Liver View is a 15-minute ferry trip from Liverpool city centre and offers free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking.

Superb location for access to the Seacombe Ferry and Liverpool. Good parking. Owners made us feel very welcome. Our room was cosy rather than spacious, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. We could see the Liverpool skyline from our window. The mattress on the bed was amazing, and the shower was very good. The cooked breakfast was very nice.
