The room: the room was as pictured - a big comfy single bed, a corner wardrobe, a desk and a mini sitting area at the corner, and a TV. The shower was good with a good temperature and great water flow. It was nothing fancy but very comfortable, and we did not need to spend much time indoors as Lisbon was magnificent and worth spending the whole day out.
The hotel and breakfast: the staff was very welcoming, and the hotel was clean. The breakfast had a few cheese and salami varieties, eggs, yoghurt with toppings, pastries including pasteis de nata, juices, coffee, and fruits. It was again nothing fancy but a good offer to kick the day off. As a bonus, you could take coffee and tea in take-away cups =)
As a pleasant bonus, the common ironing area is on a top floor =)
The hotel is located in a non-touristic zone, with a 5 min walk to the nearest metro and roughly 10 min walk to the bus and train station Sete Rios, which is very convenient if you are travelling to other cities in Portugal.

Location was central to the places we wanted to visit. Breakfast was adequate, but not exciting. The transparent pool on the 6th floor was unique.

Facing the Tagus River and built on seven hills, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It offers unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: the Belém's famous monuments; the Alfama's labyrinthine streets, bars and small shops; and the trendy Alcântara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are located in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in the Baixa.

lisbon is a great place to visit and has a great selection of things to see and do.the river trips seemed very over priced given the geography of the city, otherwise a very reasonable tourist destination.that said i did get a slight feeling that the locals resent tourists seeing us as rich while they see themselves as poor.i did experience over charging in a taxi and on another occasion in a restaurant.as an overview the city felt safe and certainly no one bothered me day or night.

I'm visiting Lisbon for 6th year and I never had enouth.
There's something for everyone; cultural visitors, bars and restaurant enthusiasts, party fans or just simply go with your flow, get lost in the town, eat their local food & drinks, maybe to hop on salesboat and enjoy the sunset, hop on the ferry on the other side of the cannal and enjoy in 40 kilometers long sandy beach; ocean, waves, sun and sand..
From sensible Fado to something more club modern:
When you come to Lisbon, you want to come back.
For me, their simple "Obrigado" or "Thank you" is something I enjoy the most.

Lisbon is a beautiful city with amazing architecture and colourful buildings. The sites are spectacular. The best way to get around is to walk but there are also Tuk Tuks and trams - but be careful the city is all cobblestones and they can be slippery. Wear only flat shoes. The hop on hop off bus tour is well worth it. There so many amazing restaurants and bars. Plus there is Time Out food market which is well worth a visit. I would highly recommend Lisbon

Our new favorite European city.
Our new favorite European city. So easy to get around by taxi, tuk tuk or just walking. Loads of historic monuments and palaces and cathedrals to visit. Don’t forget the national tile museum which was spectacular. The views from the tops of the churches / mausoleum were great. We loved the abundance of restaurants serving all manner of dishes. We especially liked the vegan restaurants and gluten free options everywhere..

Love the Old Town.
Love the Old Town. But lots of steps/hill everywhere so be prepared to walk and be tired.
Restaurants were okay but not much for gluten free people like me.
Very friendly people!
Used Uber and was great!
Our hotel "Alfama Lisbon Suites" was great. Isabella at front desk was very very helpful with questions and where to go and questions about the room.
Our flight was cancelled and we had to book a hotel in Lisbon overnight- couldn’t have stayed in a better place! The staff were so lovely and warm, the bed was extremely comfortable for our aching bodies, and we were chuffed with the slippers and bathrobes! After an exhausting day sorting out new flights and accommodation, we got the best night’s sleep ever thanks to the lovely bed! The location is fab, very central and we were able to potter around Lisbon to see the sights while waiting to go to the airport. Would definitely recommend.
The location was probably the best part of this hotel. The Rossio Plaza Hotel is adjacent to the main plaza, which was also very crowded ( the most crowded area in Lisbon), but there was no shortage of restaurants, and it was close to some attractions such as the cathedral. The staff was generally accommodating and helped us with our luggage on the way in and out. I enjoyed the view of Rossio Plaza from our room window. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel because they did not open until 8 am, and we had to get an earlier start.
I could not have been happier with my stay. Jessica at reception and the entire staff provided exceptional service. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Without a doubt, this is a professionally run hotel and it is where will stay again when I return to Lisbon in the near future. The service was impeccable. EVERYTHING about this place was great. The other thing that I loved about this place is how close it is situated to the Lisbon's METRO system. Absolutely the best - hated to leave. A big thank you to the entire staff.
Good value for your money-stay in Lisbon if you're looking for something a little bit better than a regular hotel. Everything was clean and all contact with staff went smoothly.
The best part, however, was the free shuttle service from the hotel to the city centre (semi-flexible on exact location). The driver, Raphael (might not be correctly spelled), was the perfect man for the job, and could answer questions on what to do in Lisbon and give fun facts and information about the city overall. Definitely worth a ride!
The breakfast was out of this world amazing. We’ve traveled around Portugal for 2 weeks staying in many 5 star hotels and yet this was way better. So unique with every detail thought through. WiFi speed was hitting 155Mb download. Perfect to have meetings and work. Staff very professional and polite especially the gentleman that works in the evening. I like staying in different places to try something new but I don’t think I’ll stay anywhere else when I come back to Lisbon and will highly recommend to everyone.
Great location, away from the noise and tight alleys. The hotel is situated at the train station (no noise) which is quite convenient if you’re looking to access the metro or do any day trips from lisbon. Convenience store right inside the train station.
Super clean and nicely furnished rooms with fresh towels and toiletries, looks newly renovated. Most importantly for us Arabs, there’s a hose (bidet/ شطاف) :)
I wouldn’t go as far and call it 5 star but it is a good value one.
Everything! First of all the staff is just so nice and kind! There’s someone in the front desk 24/7 which is pretty nice too. All the electronics works perfectly and overall it’s the best place I stayed at ever!
But the most important part is the location! 90% of lisbon’s best things to see are 5-20 minutes walking, and the best nightlife in lisbon is a few streets away so you are 2 minutes walking from all the bars but your hotel stays quiet and clean
We have been in a few hostel/hotel in Lisbon and this is by far the best one!! The staff are super nice and helpful, the place is so clean!! The room is absolutely beautiful and comfortable
The room was super nice and full of light (we had the one with the shared balcony ) the bed is comfortable , and the kitchen is very nice for cooking - have everything you need
When I’m again in Lisbon I will definitely come back to this Lodge !
Thank you
Excellent location. Easily reached by metro from the airport and a short ride into the city centre.
Hotel was very clean and had everything we could have needed. The music theme was also fun and we enjoyed extra features in the room such as being able to connect our music via Bluetooth. Also had really nice restaurants within walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend for a trip to Lisbon.
All the staff was exceptional, gracious and very helpful on suggesting restaurants, walks, and sightseeing. Breakfast was best of our 3 week stay in Portugal, and they graciously allowed us an early one to make sure we got to airport on time. Location as in the center of a very social part of old Lisbon, walkable to all nearby sights and riverside area. Room was quiet despite a very in-city location
Listen folks, it’s a cheap hotel in general but good standard. Too sterile vs the work paid 5 star hotel on same city but did the job very well for an extra night. Convenience stores near by. I did not have breakfast there so I cannot comment on the food. Location was good but uphill on Lisbon pavements with Willy bag on a rainy day not a great combination. Overall very pleased with product I got.
Absolutely best hostel ever. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time in hostel, in Lisbon and in Portugal.
They have dinner Events, pub crawl, fado, etc. They also gave us a guide for beaches on the West Coast. They als kept some of my stuff and I picked them up 2 weeks later when I returned to Lisbon, this was a huge help.
Very impressive accommodations and facilities. The beds, the room decor, the room arrangements, the bathrooms, it felt like I was staying at a really fancy AirBnB. The bathrooms are similar to what you’d get in some 5 star hotels, white, new, maintained, clean and in pristine condition. Definitely the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are amazing too, and the location is perfect.
Everything about this hotel is terrific. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and did their best to accommodate us. Diogo and Dario were especially helpful. The location is a short subway ride from the airport, as well as the city centre. The beds were comfy, the room was quiet, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I would stay here again.
Our room was large and set up exactly as we had requested.
Staff was excellent, particularly the breakfast staff. Breakfast was excellent with many options. One of the best breakfast situations I have ever had. Library on the top floor with available beverages was excellent. We loved Lisbon, and this hotel was one of the reasons why. Thank you!
The staff was super!!!
Very very helpfull, taking the time to help you with everthing you need.
Room was ckean.
I would stay here again.
Take a walk round the hotel, lots of restaurants and places to have breakfast.
Bus in front of hotel, going to and from the city centre (Alfama).
Uber is very cheap in Lisbon (from airport to hotel etc).
very convenient next to the airport. the rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. breakfast/food/bar are great too. the spas the best part. I usually stay here when I have a lay over in Lisbon. the heated pool and massage is a great way to end the day of travel. and grab a bite to eat and a drink at the hotel bar.
Near airport but really not very central to popular parts of Lisbon and not many restaurant options near by. Train station is less than 10 mins away. Pool is lovely and warm - but you have to wear swim hats (wish I had known this before) and therefore we had to purchase some from the hotel €10 per person.
I think it's the best hotel you can stay if you have late flight or 1 day transfer. Location is very good and near to the airport, but if I would like to stay in city centre for my travells, I wouldn't book it. (It's pretty much far from the centre.
Overall, room was clean with comfy bed.
The staff are amazing the hotel it's self is exceptional.
Location was the best in lisbon. Rooms had all luxury ammenties from bathroom to coffee machine. Bed very comfortable
