Close to the airport. The room was large and comfortable. Plenty of choices for breakfast, although the buffet dinner was sadly lacking in vegan options, but the restaurant manager, did his best to accommodate me .

Facing the Tagus River and built on seven hills, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It offers unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: the Belém's famous monuments; the Alfama's labyrinthine streets, bars and small shops; and the trendy Alcântara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are located in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in the Baixa.
Enjoy a walk in the greenery of Jardim Botânico, admire the architecture of the Jerónimos Monastery or explore Feira da Ladra flea market. The Chiado area serves the city's best traditional Portuguese food. No meal is complete without some famous pastéis de nata!
Getting to the city centre is only a metro or bus ride from Lisbon Portela Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel, a friendly guesthouse or a cosy apartment, Booking.com has plenty of accommodations for your holiday in Lisbon.
Beautiful city near the water. The outdoor cafes were so nice and the seafood was amazing. We enjoyed listening to Fado music at night. The pastries were delicious! Day trips were easy to get to picturesque Cascais a beach town and Sintra s well as many castles, churches abs museums. Take the Tuk Tuk tour!

Trip to Sintra and Guincheo beach ALL WERE SUPERB
Be careful with your personal safety , which i felt little bit serious. Especially taxi cabs drivers , they might loot you and threaten with knives for Euros. Better not to carry too much cash in your wallet.

Lisbon has a fantastic , young vibe with a wide variety of activities for day or night. The city feels very safe and easy to move around in and we saw many solo travelers.
As long as you are fit to climb many hills and stairs you will love Lisbon.
Love the look out points in Garcia and Alfama with sunset and drinks. Take the day trip to Cascais and Sintra. Pack solid shoes and bring your appetite , especially your sweet tooth.

This city is very friendly.
This city is very friendly. The only not so good experience - too many tourists (like us). A lot of restaurants and other local food places, welcoming locals, beautiful sightseeing, architecture, good weather, charming old town. As for us - it's Fado.

Make sure you wear sturdy shoes as most pavements are cobbled and can be quite uneven in places. Lisbon is quite hilly so be prepared.
There are good public transport links and you can get a 24hr pass (from all Metro stations and other outlets) which gives unlimited travel on the Metro, busses, trams, funiculars and some lifts for just over 6 Euro.
Take a walk from Rossio down Rua Augusta where there are plenty of restaurants with plenty of choice (and then onto Arco de Rue Augusta).

Lisbon is wonderful with a lot of variety.
Lisbon is wonderful with a lot of variety. Bairro Alto neighborhood has lots to offer for an evening, bars and restaurants everywhere. Favourites... dinner with a few fado songs, Port/Wine tasting, Belem tarts, walk along water from Belem to main square, Alfama neighborhood for history. For us 3-4 days was good but we like to get out of the city as well. Portugal is a beautiful country with amazing people, food, wine and port. The people are kind, friendly and fun!
Wonderful boutique hotel in the center of Lisbon. The ladies at reception were very nice, at the breakfast as well. The room is nicely decorated, bathroom and bed clean and comfortable. The breakfast is served in their little roof top which is nice (inside and outside seating). Sufficient choice for breakfast and everything freshly prepared.
The lift is a plus when traveling with large suitcase. Another plus is the little shop right next door with the best pasteis de nata and delicious sandwiches.
The location was great, only a few minutes walk from the Saldanha metro station which can take you straight to the airport and all of the main areas of Lisbon city centre. Food shops and pharmacy also nearby.
The hotel staff were lovely and upgraded our room for free. The hotel also felt very safe even when we were returning late at night after a day out.
Hotel facilities were clean and the reception area is really nice. Our room also had a great TV.
Hotel is nice and clean. It's modern..the indoor pool was very expensive to use it was €37 for two people and two swimming hats and it was freezing cold. Location is a bit outside of the main center but its very cheap to get a taxi. Good food is very hard to find in Lisbon. Unless you like seafood you are going to be hungry. Hard rock cafe was probably the best food we found. Lisbon is a nice place very clean and alot of nice buildings and monuments.
This hotel leans to the more "budget" friendly offerings in Lisbon, and for the price, you get excellent value here. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was clean, and in a great location downtown and close to the airport. I had to leave earlier than the breakfast was offered, but the staff offered to pack a small breakfast for me in a bag to take with me in the morning. Marta is the best!!!
A lovely hotel, decor excellent, clean and comfortable. The best thing about this hotel are the staff from the reception breakfast staff and housekeeping nothing was too much all superb. It might be a bit out from city centre but the tram runs from just around the corner and taxis are cheap.
