Facing the Tagus River and built on seven hills, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It offers unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: the Belém's famous monuments; the Alfama's labyrinthine streets, bars and small shops; and the trendy Alcântara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are located in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in the Baixa.
Enjoy a walk in the greenery of Jardim Botânico, admire the architecture of the Jerónimos Monastery or explore Feira da Ladra flea market. The Chiado area serves the city's best traditional Portuguese food. No meal is complete without some famous pastéis de nata!
Getting to the city centre is only a metro or bus ride from Lisbon Portela Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel, a friendly guesthouse or a cosy apartment, Booking.com has plenty of accommodations for your holiday in Lisbon.
Lisboa isn't the same anymore. It has full of expats so everything is expensive as Barcelona, Paris, etc...The city is still underdeveloped but yet the prices are too high. I miss the old Lisboa

Such a great city.
Such a great city. A week is definitely enough to see a lot, both daytime and nighttime (no matter the day of the week). You could stay longer to see even more. It offers enough heritage for history buffs, night life for the night owls, food for the foodies; there's something for everything. And though it would be classed a city break, getting to the beaches are super easy with public transport or with a taxi.

I need to say, the most awesome part is all the foreigners, meeting so many of them and all so nice. I met little to none natives, but I always had a foreigner reach out to me and make friendships and hangout. Unexpected, but so nice, they made my trip.

It was quite hilly in places but good footwear made it easier to get around. Local restaurants (off the main streets) were very good and reasonably priced. Very cheap to travel around on the metro, tram and buses. If going on the E28 tram get on at the terminus as you are more likely to get a seat, they run every 10 minutes. We caught one from terminus to terminus and saw sights on the way. Don't pay for the Elevador de Santa Justa, you can walk up and get the same view. Ferry and bus to Christ the Redeemer very reasonable and nice place to eat at the top plus lovely views. Don't forget to try Pastels de Nata (custard tart). Lovely in the cafe here as they heat them.

Perfect for a city break and beaches easily reached by train.
Metro system, including transfers from the airport directly into the city centre, was cheap and easy to navigate - just buy a 50c card and load it at one of the machines.
There are, however, stairs everywhere - not one for those who might struggle!
HIstoric accommodations in the heart of old Lisbon; excellent location for walking to sights and restaurants. Modern design in old building; tasteful and beautiful. The breakfast provided, the extra efforts the staff went to in order to make our stay a warm welcome was really what sets this small, luxury boutique hotel apart from any other we've stayed in. Coming back at the end of a day of exploring, being offered a glass of wine; chatting with other guests .. it felt like coming home. HIghly recommend. Would love to return.
Fantastic location - although I was in Lisbon for work, I still had tourist inclinations. The hotel could not be better placed for access to everything in the area a tourist would demand. I paid a little extra for an upgrade and it was worth every penny. The very quiet room had an “office” area and a fantastic shower in the bathroom. There wasn’t much to see through the windows, but I was there to walk around.
One of the best breakfasts ever. More a boutique hotel with some facilities, but a wonderful stay.
Unbeknownst to us we arrived to Lisbon the same days when the Pope and over 1 million people descended on the city, and the staff of the hotel were extremely helpful in showing us how to navigate the city the best way possible.
It helped that the hotel is centrally located to the main places of interest, allowing us to experience this beautiful city.
The hotel is impeccably clean, the bed very comfortable , and the pastels de nata at the reception are a “sweet bite” for every time you cross the lobby!
Everything… From being picked up from the airport in a Tesla (pipedream to own one of these) to the fantastic service we received by every person along the way cannot recommend this place enough. They even went above and beyond when we thought Lisbon was about to be locked down due to covid (it ended up being fine). The place itself is fantastic and the food is great too. Highly recommend the breakfast. My partner and I travel a lot and this is one of the best 4 star hotels we have ever stayed in.
Close to the metro and airport links. Once you get to grips with the metro and in particular the bus service getting around was great fun. Some good bars and restaurants nearby and a lot cheaper than the city centre. Good size room and great shower, lifts might be a problem if the hotel was full, but for our stay it was fine. This is my 4th visit to the city and by far the best hotel so far, but not really 5 star quality but for the price an excellent hotel and no where near 5 star prices.
This hotel is perfectly located right at the heart of beautiful Lisbon. It felt like a luxury hotel (closer to 5 stars).
The staff was very warm and friendly. They have upgraded us on check in, which was very nice.
The room was very spacious and spotless clean with all necessary amenities.
The people at reception were extremely helpful - they have stored our luggage after check out and helped us navigate our way to the next destination.
We would come back!
Hotel is nice and clean. It's modern..the indoor pool was very expensive to use it was €37 for two people and two swimming hats and it was freezing cold. Location is a bit outside of the main center but its very cheap to get a taxi. Good food is very hard to find in Lisbon. Unless you like seafood you are going to be hungry. Hard rock cafe was probably the best food we found. Lisbon is a nice place very clean and alot of nice buildings and monuments.
One of the best hotel we stayed at with our family across three generations. The kids, parents and grandparents loved the spacious environment, kitchenette, kids club, friendly staff and all the amenities offered at the hotel. We were so impressed with the hotel, its staff and the management being able to cater to the needs of international visitors. Would highly recommend for families and those wanting a more modern space to stay while in Lisbon.
This hotel was booked for my birthday. A luxury stay and the building and rooms are exceptional. Service is what you would expect from a boutique 5 star hotel and it is to be applauded. Thank you for a lovely stay and I hope to visit your lovely hotel in future. Breakfast immense. Evening meal (extra) and wine exceptional for the price. Stay here for the experience you won't get in most 5* hotels.
Just about anything - in particular the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. I travel extensively (at least pre-Covid) but how you are treated in this hotel is par to the best 5 stars in the world. An extra thanks to the bartender (whose name I do not remember but who introduced me to amazing wines) and the two ladies who did the free guided tours, Mrs. Silvestre and Mrs. Guitana.
Location is just amazing right next to the Arch of Lisbon. Walking distance to many attractions. The room was new and great. The heating was excellent. Breakfast was provided at a nearby 5 start hotel of the same group and was really worth the 2 minute walk to get there. Probably was the best breakfast we had in Lisbon.
Location was perfect, friendly staff our room was spare but very clean and the air conditioning was the best of any hotel we had been, and we stayed at 5 star hotels on this trip, the bed was comfortable, we could have used some wash clothes but thats fine and the towels could be updated but it was all good .
A lovely hotel, decor excellent, clean and comfortable. The best thing about this hotel are the staff from the reception breakfast staff and housekeeping nothing was too much all superb. It might be a bit out from city centre but the tram runs from just around the corner and taxis are cheap.
I think it's the best hotel you can stay if you have late flight or 1 day transfer. Location is very good and near to the airport, but if I would like to stay in city centre for my travells, I wouldn't book it. (It's pretty much far from the centre.
Overall, room was clean with comfy bed.
Everything it is the best hotel i stayed in very clean rooms comfortable and big good location and the staff was great help with everything and breakfast was perfect i love it planning to stay there again for sure it should be a 5 star hotel
Thanks for making our stay perfect
excellent location(just 3mins to the metro), very very friendly staff, the room is nice with a good view. I love everything about this hotel. The breakfast is great, the coffee is the best there. I will definitely book again if I go to Lisbon again.
The service levels of a super luxury 5 star hotel but mixed with a beautifully appointed apartment. Joanna is an amazing host and cannot do enough to make your stay simply perfect. We love Lisbon and especially this property. See you soon.
All staffs are warm and super polite, they are the best in all 5 star hotels I babe been in Europe. You can feel that
they really care about the their services. The breakfast is in high quality.
Best breakfast of the 6 hotels we stayed in. I would choose this hotel again when I visit Lisbon again. Location is great, room and staff were good, breakfast was outstanding.
