Facing the Tagus River and built on seven hills, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It offers unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: the Belém's famous monuments; the Alfama's labyrinthine streets, bars and small shops; and the trendy Alcântara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are located in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in the Baixa.

People in Lisbon are very nice, and weather is very nice even sea and ocean but not much humidity or transpiration, the food is nice india food or European food or oriental food i like also Chinese and Korean foods, here i saw just few Asian restaurants but in Canada there are more Asian restaurants but in Lisbon there other positive points of food for example not expensive and of good quality as well, however sometimes for country interests a minority do some bad choices but i did nothing against the intrests of anyone or any country it's just a minority of some evil ones try to misslead the general public opinion of this country or another one

Wonderful city full of history and beauty.
Wonderful city full of history and beauty. So much to see and very accessible. Tough walking up the hills but worth the view at the top. Plenty of transport options, the airport is close to the city centre (20-25 minutes in a taxi). So many food options.

Liked the access to Sintra and out of the way lanes and tapas bars. Mostly didn’t like it because of the stench and uncleanliness of the place. Not the friendliest place to visit and most people unhelpful and dishonest

Lisbon and all of Portugal are not a friendly country and need many repairs, some of which make visiting challenging. Everywhere but at the beach, one will find derelict buildings everywhere and it is a dirty feeling in many of the areas of Lisbon and other cities of Portugal that we visited over three weeks. It is more expensive than we expected and the food/restaurant scene requires research to ensure good, even great meals. We travel to Europe twice a year with this our least favorite visit since the end of the pandemic.

Beautiful city both the old part and new.
Beautiful city both the old part and new. Streets very clean and a vast amount of restaurants, bars and cafes. Hop on and off bus tours give you a good idea of places to go. Trams and Tuk Tuks great way to experience the city. If you love walking this is a great city to do it in. I would recommend trainers or sturdy walking schools as the streets are all white and black cobbles that look nice but can be a challenge.

Lisbon is a pleasant and safe city and 3 full days is plenty unless you love museums and churches. The Coach Museum was interesting and few other visitors. The Baixa/Chiado area is good for tourists, first time visitors. Plenty in walking distance. Definitely take a private tuk-tuk tour to see the highlights that sit on the city's 7 hills. A day trip to beautiful Sintra is a must.
Good value for your money-stay in Lisbon if you're looking for something a little bit better than a regular hotel. Everything was clean and all contact with staff went smoothly.
The best part, however, was the free shuttle service from the hotel to the city centre (semi-flexible on exact location). The driver, Raphael (might not be correctly spelled), was the perfect man for the job, and could answer questions on what to do in Lisbon and give fun facts and information about the city overall. Definitely worth a ride!
The breakfast was out of this world amazing. We’ve traveled around Portugal for 2 weeks staying in many 5 star hotels and yet this was way better. So unique with every detail thought through. WiFi speed was hitting 155Mb download. Perfect to have meetings and work. Staff very professional and polite especially the gentleman that works in the evening. I like staying in different places to try something new but I don’t think I’ll stay anywhere else when I come back to Lisbon and will highly recommend to everyone.
Fantastic location - although I was in Lisbon for work, I still had tourist inclinations. The hotel could not be better placed for access to everything in the area a tourist would demand. I paid a little extra for an upgrade and it was worth every penny. The very quiet room had an “office” area and a fantastic shower in the bathroom. There wasn’t much to see through the windows, but I was there to walk around.
One of the best breakfasts ever. More a boutique hotel with some facilities, but a wonderful stay.
If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel with free foot massage, jacuzzi and spritz aperol served in your room every evening, go elsewhere. If you need a simple, functional, clean and comfortable room with a lovely, caretaking landlady, in a house which maintains coolness inside despite hot weather and is located in a quite and nice neighbourhood of Lisbon (a few hundred meters away from the river, the tower of Belem and the Jeronimos monastery, all of this at a very reasonable price, this place is for you!
Great location, just outside the city centre, a few metro stops away from the main tourist hub of Lisbon. Hotel itself is 200m from the metro entrance at Saldanha which connects directly to the airport. Range of local
restaurants and bars serving good food at extremely competitive prices on the doorstep. Exceptionally clean throughout, bed linen and towels changed each day. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a range of options and would suit most tastes.
The hotel was 5 stars all the way . You could not get a better location as we could walk everywhere . We were so impressed with Lisbon and having picked this hotel made our stay .
During the short stay we even managed to sit around the pool and sun bath . The pool and the courtyard for drinks we’re so lovely and relaxing .
Service and staff were 10/10 for me so highly recommend. May be a bit dearer then others locally but worth every penny
5 star in every way. I was having a hard time figuring out which hotel and neighborhood to stay in in Lisbon and this hotel checked all the boxes. First of all, it's literally a mansion. There are only 6 rooms so you feel like you are at a friend's mansion. The breakfast was included and amazing. you can eat on patio or in your room. Its such an amazing hotel and staff, it was hard to leave.
This hotel was booked for my birthday. A luxury stay and the building and rooms are exceptional. Service is what you would expect from a boutique 5 star hotel and it is to be applauded. Thank you for a lovely stay and I hope to visit your lovely hotel in future. Breakfast immense. Evening meal (extra) and wine exceptional for the price. Stay here for the experience you won't get in most 5* hotels.
It's a beautiful hotel and a lovely place to stay. The garden square outside is gorgeous and you are walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff were exceptional, very welcoming and helpful. Delicious breakfast and great bar. There are not many hotels of this standard in Lisbon so if you're looking for the best but without the impersonal nature of the big chains, then this is for you.
The hotel is located in an excellent area, central and close to everything. The room was very spacious, clean and bright, the beds very comfortable. But the best of all was the staff, especially Mr. Daniel, who had a great treatment, always attentive and willing to help, giving tips to make the most of the city, made our stay our best day in Lisbon. We will definitely come back.
It is the perfect stay - book already! Love this hotel and can’t wait to be back. The amazing rooms, design, history, breakfast. Not to mention the best location in town! Any marking down on booking.com is from people used to staying in 5 star chain hotels with a massive staff. ThIs is a boutique hotel. Having traveling the world in depth, this is always the better experience 😉
I loved the location, which was really close to the historic center of Lisbon. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely complimentary breakfast. The best part of this hotel, however, is the staff, who were so kind and really took their time to provide us with recommendations for things to do in the city.
A wonderful, friendly, small hotel with easy access to the sights of Lisbon. The best part was the garden, an beautiful oasis to take your breakfast or for afternoon drinks at the honor bar. The staff and owners helpfully shared their recommendations on Lisbon and other places to visit in Portugal. A real find.
Near airport but really not very central to popular parts of Lisbon and not many restaurant options near by. Train station is less than 10 mins away. Pool is lovely and warm - but you have to wear swim hats (wish I had known this before) and therefore we had to purchase some from the hotel €10 per person.
The best hotel we’ve ever stayed in !
You are treated like royalty . The staff is nice and kind as well as very skillful .
The landscaping is green and lush and makes you forget you are in Lisbon and not a resort.
There are beautiful pools and good restaurants, all one can wish for in one place.
Location was the best as it was in a very central part of Lisbon. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Super breakfast and bar. Restaurants surrounded the hotel everywhere.
a real 5 stars hotel, very helpful staff, nice restaurants and bars, excellent breakfast, big comfortable room, spacious bathroom. our choice in Lisbon.
