Went for a spa gateway. Really nice hotel, the building is beautiful and so are the grounds and garden. The staff is very nice and friendly and the restaurant and spa are great.

The room was much better than expected, very clean and fresh. ground floor so excellent for those with mobility problems.
The bed was very comfortable and we loved the quirky milk urn and welcome gift.
Breakfast was ample for the price and the pub was friendly and welcoming.
We did not find fault in anything, highly recommended.
I lived in Hertford for years so was visiting friends.
I lived in Hertford for years so was visiting friends. Ware is now a far nicer town than Hertford (for a long time it was the other way round). Lots of nice bars, pubs, restaurants etc.
Nice place.

Compact but attractive own with many nice old buildings with a good choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. The musem, churches and river also gives it a greater sense of place.
The good rail link alao means that London is only 50 odd minutes away.
The only main problem is, at times, the heavy traffic going through the high street.

Ware is a pleasant small river town with some lovely old buildings. Plenty of pubs restaurants and coffee houses. If the weather is good you can walk to Hartford 1.5 miles along the river which is another old town steeped in history.

The village is small but pituresque.
The village is small but pituresque. When you throught the square behind the church in the night you can see a iluminated three and just there you can eat in some restaurant. Futher, there is a river throughting the village and the views are wonderful.
Clean, comfortable, charming little Cottage located centrally within Ware.
Clear, easy instructions to locate and enter the property. WiFi was good and strong. Kitchen was equipped with facilities and amenities to make drinks.
Rooms were both lovely - Small single room and one bigger double room. Bathroom had a nice proper bath.
Nigel the owner was extremely helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to meet my early arrival requirements. All facilities, including the pub, were clean and well presented. Very well positioned just five minutes walk from the centre of Ware.
