Pattaya it's a city where you can stay a few days, to go out and have a little fun, but too many bars and go-go and ladyboys and also massage parlors, prostitution is everywhere, who want nothing other than your money , in the evening after 2 o'clock it is even dangerous in several areas of Pattaya, you have to be very careful because there is a lot of theft and pickpocketing in many places in Pattaya.RobertFrance - 6.0Scored 6.0

It was nice to be in and see some places, but the night life is too busy and annoying with all the problematic known thing on Pattaya. It is just too much, not clean streets, and not give you a nice and comfort place to be in. The food was nice having restaurants of all kinds, the market not that huge and the prices are not cheap as I would have expected for.

Lots of updates since last visit, walking street is down the tubes, allot more expencive now and too crowded... And dont go during water festival/ New Year April 18ish week unless you just want to play in the water festivities, or just a day or two into it, tourist kind of took over and it's just a crowded mess with everyone trying to get you wet, again mainly tourists... You want to go out at night you get wet then go into an a/c place, not a good combo... If your walking fair game... Plenty of other places to go instead of walking street now... I was there about 10 days and only briefly went down walking street one nite, used to be a fun area...

Came for the Songkran celebrations so I didn't explore much of the beach itself, but the city is great! Lots of amazing Indian restaurants and cheap massage parlors with the nicest ladies who even gave us restaurant recommendations. Will come back to fully experience Pattaya.

Stayed for 1 night as a stop over, before heading to Koh Samet the following day. We then stopped 1 more night on are way back from Koh Samet, which was just at the start of Songkrans. Had an amazing time and cant wait to get back. Although we stayed at the far end of Pattaya, there was still plenty to do and it was more than easy enough walking around or getting local transportation, all at a very reasonable price.
