Everything about Madrid is simply fabulous. This was my fifth visit and I'd go back tomorrow if I could! Great food and drink options everywhere; glorious museums; fabulous walks through Retiro Park in the late afternoon and along the Grand Via in the early evening. Highly recommend ARTEMSIA restaurant (vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free).

In the bars and taverns were we eating I remember most Txapela and Rocablanca...they were all good but I staubwith those.clean city, the royal Palace, gran via, el retired, museo reina sofia Callao, puerta del sol. The transfer to and from the airport is super convenient. We were worried because our flight was delayed, but the hotel staff were very nice and arranged for a pick up at the airport at 2am with no extra charge. This was really appreciated. The premises are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was also of good quality. I will be staying again if I am ever connecting flights in Madrid.
