Polychrono is a lovely village with one of the nicest promenades in halkidiki, with a great variety of places to eat and drink - many with tables on the beach itself. Lovely atmosphere - relaxed and friendly. Great for families and couples who enjoy spending their evenings walking the promenade, a nice meal and chilling with a drink or two in beautifully decorated bars. Much better beaches to be had in halkidiki, but polychrono beach is typical of many town beaches in halkidiki. You definitely need a car to explore the area - afitos was nearby and is a stunning village and makes for a great evening out. These people are always willing to help you and honor your requests. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view and the amazing pool! The breakfast was the best ever! The location is very convenient, you have everything you need nearby (pharmacy, stores, markets, cafe & bar, bakery.) and last but not least there is a great reception and people working there. Hotel is in a great location, just beside the main road and couple of minutes away from the beach. The room was tidy and spacious, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you might need during your stay. The pool was big, clean and there were always free sunbeds under umbrellas. Also the AC was free of charge. Even thought there were families with small children in apartments next to ours it was quiet.
