This beautiful hotel is exceptional in every way. Great location in square with bars and restaurants yet little oasis inside, quiet rooms with big comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. And while I know there are a lot of lovely hotels in Split they don't have a Maria, Andy and all the other wonderful staff that look after you so well. They offered to pick us up from ferry terminal and early breakfast when we checked out, Maria told us the best places to go and Andy even wheeled our cases the short distance from hotel to Pick Up 1 where we could quickly get our Uber taxi after recommending it was a lot cheaper than picking up one from rank.

Stunning Split stands proudly on the eastern shores of the Adriatic Sea, and due to its great climate is called the Mediterranean Flower. It features eclectic architecture, spectacular views and delicious cuisine.
Split is centred around the ancient Roman Palace of the Emperor Diocletian, a magnificent building constructed at the beginning of the 4th century AD and boasting limestone and marble towers, columns and courtyards. It lies in a bay decorated with white sails of yachts, as sailing is definitely Split’s big thing!
The city is full of architectural gems, one of which is St. Duje’s Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in the world, built in 305 AD and combining both Roman and Catholic influences. Nearby Varoš is a must-see, one of the city’s oldest parts, full of charming streets and beautiful houses.
Make sure you visit the Bačvice Beach and the Riva promenade, popular with locals and full of cafés and palm trees. While on the hunt for local specialities, try soparnik - wood-fired dough filled with vegetables - or local soda drinks Pipi and Orela.

Croatia is such a beautiful place with lots of things to do and see. We did a couple of trip, one being to Krka National Park to see the waterfalls which were amazing. The Virtual Reality place is also worth a visit. The old town has lots of cobbled street....some of which are quite slippery so sensible footwear is advised. Food is reasonably priced and you should try the Cevapi..traditional in Croatia. Drink prices vary quite a lot from place to place. The cheapest we found was 7 euro for 2 large beers and the most expensive was 12 euro for 2 small ones.

Lovely marina and harbour areas to walk around. Also Riva walkway.
Ate lovely homemade burgers at Toto's Burger Bar before climbing steps to viewpoint on Marjan hill. Diocletian Palace area with quaint streets and plenty to see.

I loved every minute of exploring Split.
I loved every minute of exploring Split. I was only there for two days before taking a boat to Dubrovnik however I found this was a good amount of time for me. I recommend checking out the Green Market, Diocletian's Palace, the Split Riva promenade and the stunning views of the city at the Viewpoint to Marjan! Don't forget to stop along the way and check out the many cafes, restaurants and have a local brew or two... ;)

Beautiful place to wander round, very chilled and lots of restaurant and bar choices.
Lots of places to visit from there including the islands of Brac, Hvar and Vis.
Krka waterfalls is a must , would recommended just visiting there and not bothering with the added wine tasting tours and towns etc that you can add on as not really worth it.

The old town in Split is great to walk around, we did a walking tour which was interesting. The two restaurants we went to were very good, lovely food and reasonably priced. Walked up to the lookout on the other side of the harbour for a 360o view of the city. Lovely beaches just out of town. We went to Trogir for the day for some time on the beach and a look around the old town which was a great day out.

Split was a real gem, from the beautiful promenade along the harbour to the walled city of the old palace with all it's winding narrow alleyways which open up onto beautiful squares lined with bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. The preservation of history in this place is brilliant, a real time capsule. If you like meandering, people watching, relishing beautiful old buildings and enjoying a refreshing aperitif with a wonderful view of the sea followed by sumptuous cuisine, Split is the place for you. The people are friendly and welcoming and we felt very safe all the time.
A lovely hotel with great staff in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the tourist centre of Split.
Very good breakfast.
Generous sized bedrooms, with large, and very clean, bathrooms.
Our only gripe? Trying to get served at the bar in the evening. Never any bar staff around,
Top tip: turn left outside the hotel and walk away from Split. In 5 minutes you'll find a wonderful little local seafood restaurant called Nevera Tavern, with some tables on the pavement. Best meal we had in Croatia
I booked at the last minute, and the host provided me with enough info to find this cute little place right on the edge of the old town. First floor access was very important for me, and it was an easy ~100 m walk from a parking lot (I had a lot of luggage to bring in, and I drove). Right near a great square that is a bit less touristy than elsewhere in the old town -- I went to Split to watch Croatia in the UEFA League of Nations final, and was not disappointed. Best location for exactly what I went to do!
It had everything we needed, for cooking and preparing pre made lunches, outdoor seating to enjoy the sun. Bed was really big more than enough space for two people to sleep on.
Best of all the location was perfectly situated close to the Old Town and city centre with only 10 minute walk to each direction.
There was a beach about 15 minutes walk away easy to get to and another one which is a bit nicer to go to which is a 30 minute walk.
Marcia was great helped us with everything we needed.
Loved that there was a full kitchen and fast hot water in the shower. The apartment was comfortable and about a block to the entrance to the old town. There’s a couple grocery stores nearby and Mlinar bakery about a block away that had yummy pastries and delicious coffee!! Similar to what others said about the upstairs noise, I did hear some pitter patter throughout the day but it wouldn’t deter me from staying here again! Favorite place I stayed in Croatia!!
The room is just in the middle of the main attraction of Split. Room is well decorated with modern furnitures and the bathroom is much bigger than any of the 5 star hotels of Europe. Best part is the assistance of Srdjan, who went out of his way to help me not only at Split but throughout Croatia. He helped me to book the bus tickets, ferry tickets to Brac, hiring cars, restaurants and what not. He is the best. Would recommend Miravel and Srdjan to all.
A cozy, comfortable apartment in a perfect location, if you don't mind hiking up and down steps (then again, you probably shouldn't come to Croatia if this is a problem.) The host was very accommodating and access to the property was easy. This neighborhood of Split includes some of the city's best restaurants, including a Michelin-starred one just down the hill from the apartment, where we had one of our best meals of our trip.
Rooms Marija is located in a very picturesque neighbourhood close to the old town and the ferry port.
Very quiet neighbourhood. The property is renovated and very well maintained. Extremely clean.
Our room was just like in the pictures. Beautiful with comfortable beds (best mattress we had after 9 days travelling in Croatia). The hosts, Zeljko and Branka are a very sweet couple, very hospitable.
Highly recommended !
Apartment was spacious, clean, modern, fully equipped and very comfortable. Also, very good location. We have previously stayed in the old town, so it was interesting to us to explore the Bačvice area. Popular beach, good restaurants, lovely homes. Very easy to see the old town by foot from Bačvice. Love that lots of Croatians dry their clothing out of doors on balconies.
The host was incredibly helpful for me to get oriented in the city, since I flew into Split airport. For a nominal fee he picked me up and took me to a local cevapi kiosk to enjoy a popular croatian food. The apartment was efficient yet accommodating and the host was very easy to communicate and coordinate with. I found that it was a good location to explore the city.
This hotel has undergone an amazing renovation with comfortable beds, pillows and lots of unique furniture. Located in a central location of old town. Amazing and varied breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out. This hotel was a highlight of our Croatia trip, highly recommended!
Lovely old hotel with a great breakfast. Host(s) were wonderful and very accommodating with our room switch. Rooms were very large and beds were very comfortable. Nice location out of the busy city centre but close enough for a walk. Dinner at the hotel was one of the best meals we had in Croatia!
The hotel was a quick 5 min walk into the city center, i am quite picky with my hotels and this hotel was a very big surprise. I give it a 10/10 for both the hotel itself and the staff. Probably one of the best places i have stayed overall in my life. Best choice for Split Croatia
I had a delightful stay at Blue and Green Apartments in Split, Croatia. The apartment was impeccably clean, conveniently located near the center, and the host, Tea, was incredibly helpful throughout my visit. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Split.
Perfectly situated in Split. In the center of the plaza but was very quiet. Our host Bruno was AMAZING. Extremely responsive and helped us with everything we needed during our stay and recommended restaurants and activities for the rest of our trip throughout Croatia.
What a last minute find! In old town, but close to the Riva, Diocletian's palace and Marjan hill. After sleeping on a boat with Sail Croatia for 2 weeks, the bed was HEAVEN (a memory foam mattress) and the room was immaculate.
Everything. perhaps the highlight stay for our time in Croatia. Easily accessible, within the old town walls of Split. Great restaurant right below us. You can tell the host/owners really cared.
The apartment was spacious, modern and clean in an excellent location being close to the Riva, old town and Varos area where the best restaurants were for authentic Croatian dishes.
Position of hotel is the best. Facilities are great. Staf is above Croatian standard, much more above. Breakfast was excellent. Pool very warm, sauna very hot, etc.
The amount of space in the room and bathroom was bigger than in lots of four star hotels in Croatia. It is only a fifteen minutes walk to the old centre of Split.
