A delightful little town, Hotel Post was excellent. We had a slightly complicated arrival but HP coped and we had a lovely stay - albeit for just one night. A lovely room, very nice staff and a great breakfast. If it fits in your itinerary go for it.

Delightful small town with art connections to Kandinski and his mistress Gabriele Munter whose house is a small museum. The castle museum is also very good. Lovely location surrounded by glorious nature with gorgeous views towards the mountains. A pretty main street with attractive shops and tempting restaurants. Easy to access by train from Munich and a good base on a railway junction for exploring the region. Be sure to make use of the guestcard which is issued free for the duration of your stay to anyone booking B+B or hotel accommodation and allows you to travel much of the area by bus and train without charge.JasonCzech Republic

I discovered 3 ways from the hotel. The breakfast is Continental cold cuts and fruits and the only warm food is the hard boil egg or coffee/tea.
