Sizeable clean rooms, good sized beds and rustic furniture. TV sets with English, Bulgarian, French channels.
Bathroom small but clean and as you would expect normally.
Restaurant and hotel with romantic fireplaces and actual wooden log-fires. Picturesque village with lots of hotels and restaurants, people friendly and want to help.
Very friendly personnel, the ladies in the restaurant and reception were helpful despite very little English language knowledge. Small streets and limited parking in the area - but remember this is a village.
Nearby is a village museum that opens at 9am.

Melnik is an absolutely gorgeous town with amazing old architecture and Pyramid rocks towering over the town. Its really hot here during summer. A hotel with a pool highly recommended. The people are friendly. Service and food is great. Being a well reputed wine region the wine everywhere is very very good.
Everything is walkable in the main centre. So many restaurants to choose from. Make sure you make the hike to the monastery. The views from the top are spectacular.

Melnik is a very beautiful village, stay there but do not eat at the local taverns if you are not bulgarian. Very expensive, they charge double price compared to what they charge to the locals. You can have exceptional food quality and half prices at Petric and maybe at other nearby villages

Melnik is lovely with lots of wine to try.
Melnik is lovely with lots of wine to try. Good for hiking too. Walking to the monastery is a must!
It does NOT have a pharmacy. Finding basic things like paracetamol was a nightmare. A kind member of staff from a hotel gave me one of his arthritis meds.

Regarding the hotel - everything was perfect - the room, the breakfast, the staff. The hotel also has an excellent location - on a walking distance from all wine cellars & restaurants.
Melnik itself is the Bulgarian wine capital - so go there anytime you visit the country.
And do not miss the Museum of the wine.

Melnik is the smallest and also my favourite town in Bulgaria. Its wine culture, its architecture and the nature surrounding it, are unique. If I would take my foreign friends to any place in the country, Melnik would definitely be in the top 3. Fully recommend!

Hikers, nature lovers, photographers and wine lovers should...
Hikers, nature lovers, photographers and wine lovers should not miss this town, which is known as the "smallest town" in Bulgaria with around 200 residents. It's one of the few places where nature has shaped big sand pyramids, some of which can reach a height of 100 meters. There are unlimited possibilities for hikes from the town, the most popular are to Rozhen Monastery and to a church in Zlatolist where a 1,300-year-old platanus tree is located. The town sees many tourists and plastic pollution is a big problem, like in most of Bulgaria. Soon there will be more discarded plastic bottles than pyramids here.
This property is located right in the Main Street with one bedroom overlooking the street.
it’s the 3rd hotel/accommodation I’ve tried in Melnik and the best so far. we had the best night’s sleep ever in Melnik.
There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with excellent water pressure. It’s modern and has updated furniture.
The kitchen is nice and I believe like 4 televisions and 3 AC units.
it’s a bit more expensive than I would expect on the off season, but it is large and can accommodate 6-8 people and there were only 3 of us.
Cosy little hotel at the entrance of Melnik, at a very short distance to the city center and the attractions of the area. Spacious rooms, very clean, nicely decorated. The hosts are kind and helpful, the restaurant serves delicious food and very good house wine. The breakfast is very good, too, and the hotel is really pet friendly. We stayed here in winter, we will come back in summer to check the nice garden and the pool.
Despite being on the main road to Melnik, it was very quiet. The pool looked very appealing, but I didn't have time to use it. The restaurant seemed well visited, a nice terrace with lots of guests enjoying the summer night. Sufficient and safe parking spots. A 10 mins walk to the city centre. I had to leave in the morning before breakfast but the owner had arranged a well-packed picknick bag for the road.
Amazing service, they even surprised us with a little Easter basket because we stayed over Easter weekend! We were carrying big luggages and the host jumped to help us with it.
Our room was so comfortable and clean, but most impressively, our window views were gorgeous; you can easily see the Melnik Pyramids just by looking out the window.
The whole stay at the hotel was wonderful. Personnel was really really friendly and polite. The room was clean and tidy.
Food was amazing, super delicious and the drinks.....
We tasted homemade rakia and white wine - both were one of the best we have ever tasted. We bought two bottles of the same white wine.
The rooms were very beautiful and cozy. The whole house had an authentic vibe typical for the Melnik region. The staff were very friendly. Checking in and checking out was very easy. There is parking right in front of the house. There was AC in each room which was great because Melnik was really hot.
The staff was extremely friendly, nothing was a problem, they were all very helpful and kind. There’s a restaurant right in the facility’s with tasty and reasonably priced food (the prices were by far the lowest in the city comparing to the other bigger restaurants). Our room was spacious and clean.
A very nice spot in the heart of Melnik, the room and the bathroom were exceptionally clean, the hotel has all the facilities and nothing is missing. Have a try of the tasty meals of the pub in the complex and you will be impressed. Extremely polite and friendly owners that make you feel like home.
The location is great, the staff are very kind and attentive. Everyone is very welcoming. The breakfast was great. The restaurant was serving great food and the view from there was amazing. This is your hotel in Melnik.
The place is amazing, in the very heart of the city. The staff/owners are friendly, welcoming and there is a great story behind the cellar itself. Definitely recommended after several stays in other hotels in the area.
A beautiful house, well equipped with everything one might need. Welcoming host with a good heart and a warm smile. Breath-taking view on the historical town of Melnik. No words to describe the homemade breakfast!
The apartment was very nice, clean and with everything needed. We had beautiful view to the pyramids. The garden was very big and beautiful and the staff was very professional and nice. Everything was perfect.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bulgari! The room was absolutely spotless and decorated so perfectly. The food was wonderful and the owner was so kind. Perfect location to explore Melnik.
Everything was perfect! The owners are great, the room is cozy and clean, the view from the breakfast table is fantastic! The hotel is right in the center of Melnik and pets are welcome
Great location for exploring Melnik. Friendly staff - went above and beyond when it came to advice, recommendations & arranging transfers etc. Comfortable beds. Was a great trip!
Very good hotel. I really liked the room. The staff was very helpful and nice. There is also a restaurant in this hotel and the food is delicious. Also the location is great.
