Breakfast options were lacking. One person running the whole place, so she told us to be a while for anything that she had to make. Jacuzzi was broken. My son got a rash because we didn’t find out until an hour after he went in.

This hotel would be great for if you were traveling a distance and needed a last-minute place to stay, my in-laws stayed there for two weeks although the staff was fantastic there were some other things that needed to be taken care of. They did enjoy the stay in the hotel and in the room that they stayed in the other concerns with people being outside without masks you had to walk through them, and the broken lock on the door was mine and my husbands because they are in their 80s and we need to really make sure that they were going to be safe because they were traveling back-and-forth to Middletown to take care of their elderly brother. So it was a halfway mark between where they need to go and get easy access back home to the hotel because they flew in from North Carolina.

We enjoyed a couple of meals at the restaurants in Montgomery and a delicious breakfast at the Borland house. We were also fortunate enough to stay on a Thursday evening and were able to enjoy the live music at the gazebo!!!!
We did not like anything. The motel is in disrepair! There are panels missing in ceiling with wiring exposed in the hallway. Panels missing at the bottom of the walls in hallway, exposing pipes. The hallway and room smelled strongly of skunk weed. We did not stay longer than 5 min. The gentleman at the desk was very nice. Before I left I told him we couldn't stay. It was the worst motel/hotel I have ever checked into! We were afraid of bed bugs or rats! There was loud partying coming from the rooms. Awful, just awful.
The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. However, the room had an invasive smell of cigarette smoke that infiltrated our clothing and suitcases. We tried cranking up the fan to move air around but it didn’t help.
Pros: bathroom was clean, big rooms, big windows, comfy beds/pillows
Cons: cost was super high for the location and room, the cigarette smell was AWFUL.
The price of was very good and the bed was comfortable. The person that greeted us at the front desk was nice and also accommodating as he needed to come down to help us operate the television that was not working.
The beds were comfortable. We had 3 people including our adult son with autism and each of us enjoyed the spaciousness of the room. There was a broad range of breakfast items from which to choose.
