My girlfriends and I were absolutely blown away by not only the aesthetics (which is one of the main reasons we booked the place) but the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the absolutely majestic state of the grounds. We had every intention of exploring Scottsdale and going shopping and wasting time at other restaurants but we could not bring ourselves to want to leave the resort!! The espresso martinis, the carne asada tacos, the absolute beauty of the decor (and staff) it was all worthy of a 5 star stay in Tulum. Also HUGE shout out to great our pool attendants, specially Tanner, who was working his butt off in 95 degree weather with a smile and quick wit. Thank you!

Old town was very walkable and easy to get around without a car. Old town is very much a tourist area, food is below average at most of the restaurants, pricey and service is lacking all around Scottsdale- pack your own snacks. Lots of art shops however they don't keep regular hours so many were not open.

This was an unplanned impromptu stay for 1.5 days between flights. We only had time to see the Botanical Gardens and the Heard Native American museum. Both were excellent! We would like to come back and explore the old town and other areas in the future.

We will be here for a few more weeks. We have been hiking and we love it. Early morning is great, would not hike after noon, far too hot. Traffic is great, easy to get around. Beautiful views, NO tall buildings so feels open. Air is clean. Will come back

Old Town Scottsdale - Walkability, safety/security, cleanliness, interesting and varied stores, many good restaurants offering a wide range of foods.
Red Canyon Cafe - great small place for light meals and lattes!
Farm & Craft - superb margaritas and wild mushroom flatbread!
First of all, although it was an underrated aspect, they had a free shuttle that took you into Old Town Scottsdale (2 miles away) which was an upscale bar/restaurant/shop area we didn’t know existed before our trip. The resort had 2 nice pool areas. Normally have to save chairs however because it fills up quick. Rooms weren’t fancy but comfortable bed and everything we needed. Food options were good for breakfast (Starbucks or restaurant) and lunch (sandwiches, salads, order able near the pools).
I booked this as a last minute option for somewhere in the Tempe/Scottsdale area. On arrival and seeing the pool area I actually remembered that I'd stayed here before some years ago. I think it may have had some small renovations over the years. Everything about this hotel is fine for a short stay. Room was a good size, bed very comfortable and there's a fridge/freezer. The location is really good, very close to Tempe and downtown Scottsdale is only a short drive too. The area felt safe enough.
Beautiful property, nice pool and bar area.
This place had one of the best breakfast I have been in US, usually most of the places offering fake junk food and plastic cup’s. I would love to have great breakfast everywhere I go . I’m form Europe and I use to the good quality breakfast especially for 4+* hotels and resorts. I don’t care if it’s more expensive because it is important!
the rooms and villas are spacious, but a little bit outdated.
Shhhh- this is the best kept secret in Scottsdale! Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, this clean, friendly, comfortable motor lodge charges a fraction of what other chain hotels charge you, and has a better location. Park your car and walk everywhere in Old Town. The office staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is updated, bed comfortable, it's quiet (with the air con running) and there is a decent pool.
Walked in the room was very nice, clean, absolutely perfect , very quite, laid back, the price was cheap, to b honest wasn't expecting such a great room ,we've stayed in some pretty expensive hotels , and not one of them wasn't as nice as this was. I would differently tell all my friends and family that this is a very good place to stay, thanks for making our stay a very wonderful experience
The location is great, near old Town Scottsdale, the amenities were great for our kids as well (pool, tennis courts, mini golf, etc) it would have been nice to have more kids movies.
The kitchen in our room had everything we needed, all the pots and utencils looked brand new, this was great for a long stay with a 4 yo and a 6 mo baby.
What an adorable cozy little boutique hotel on the edge of Old Scottsdale! Felt like we were staying somewhere in Europe. SO charming, quiet and restful! We did not have the chance to eat at the restaurant that is ranked as one of the BEST in Scottsdale, but wish we could have. Just can’t say enough good things.
Great location within walking distance to everything in Old Town Scottsdale. The rooms were very large and comfortable and the property was beautiful. Lots of quiet shaded sitting areas to relax in. The free breakfast was fantastic and the staff so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
Beautiful hotel. Loved the decor of the entire hotel. The room had all you needed. A coffee nespresso machine and coffee. I love the fact that we had beautifully scented shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in full size bottles to use. My first choice ion my next visit to Scottsdale.
Only having briefly visited Scottsdale on a previous visit Arizona, we wanted to return and see what the area was actually like.
We were not disappointed, the hotel was incredible, from check in, to the roof top pool the entire stay was magnificent.
Location was awesome, can easily walk to everywhere in Old town Scottsdale and it's also right beside Frank & Lupe's Mexican restaurant which was amazing.
The staff were super friendly. Breakfast was simple and adequate. The room was comfy.
Location was peaceful, great views the lake and kayaks were awesome. Great balconies per room nice pool and restaurant. Fruit in the dish excellent addition. Great selection in the mini store. Staff was awesome. Close to old town Scottsdale.
The location was great--minutes to Old Town Scottsdale. The staff was nice. Beautiful decor. Outdoor games--giant connect four and corn hole. Lots of little little outdoor seating areas and hammocks.
Double queen had a lot of space! Pool area was nice and the hot tub was gigantic! Hotel nearby Old Town Scottsdale and centrally located, so most everything was a close drive away.
