Yoshi was the person who took care of us from the minute we arrived until our departure. Actually, she called us earlier in the day to see if we needed anything before our arrival. In all ways she was excellent as was the property. We use Boooking.com to get the very best special places and Shorelight Inn totally delivered. We did have the room with a balcony overlooking the Bay, and the sunset was magnificent. Our suite was beautifully appointed with a very comfortable queen size bed. We received a nice welcoming cocktail and breakfast was made to order the next day. Our location could not have been better. We will return in the future.

Benicia is a great place to visit and shop.

Benicia is a great place to visit and shop. Not a lot of eating places for a place this close to the East Bay and San Francisco, but good enough for 2-3 days. Food is always expensive nowadays. Parking in small coastal towns is problematic and always bring a jacket for mornings and evenings.

This is a picturesque little town on the Bay with lots of history. It has lots of restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance. If you arrive by boat, the Benicia Yacht Club is very welcoming and will meet all of your boating needs.

Downtown Benicia is a hidden gem in the Bay Area. Quaint downtown Main St. with many little shops and some very good restaurants'. There is a Marina a short walk from downtown and nice area to walk along the Bay.

A pretty, small town on the bay side. The Main Street down to the water consists of pleasant small independent shops, bars and restaurants catering for all tastes. Easy access to bay ferry in Vallejo to downtown San Francisco.

Nice area and room was nice and clean.

Nice area and room was nice and clean. Was very hard to get parking while we were there because it is just what you can find on the street. Was close to restaurants and shops and views of the bay were close to walk to. The WiFi was very very slow. No ice available. Had one tiny tiny tray to make cubes, and it was empty when we arrived but Ann was nice to bring us a small bag. But the tray was not enough to hardly make one ice water or tea. We had to walk to another area for our breakfast because our area was under renovation and we did not know that until we arrived. But the breakfast was very good with many choices and chatted with our host while eating. Overall was a nice place to stay a few days and enjoy the area.

The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating and the property is unique and beautiful! Will be coming back! The kitchen was one of the best-equipped and most functional I’ve seen at a vacation rental, which allowed us to cook dinners for family and friends. And the decor was unique and eclectic in the best way.

Great location, a block from downtown restaurants and businesses, and overlooking the scenic Carquinez Strait. Cheerful staff, decent breakfast, complimentary bar,...all good. Our room overlooked the water (cool!) and was large and comfortable, and so was the bed.

Not much really. Mostly when I left. Very cheaply maintained. Lack of simple storage cabinet, table or shelves for restroom. No where to put toiletries. Ridiculous! No plug or screen for sink. Peeling paint and wallpaper. No pride of ownership whatsoever.

I liked that I could walk into the local restaurants as they were only 1 mile from the hotel. I thought that if the gym had some free weights and a bench it would have been perfect. I think the lighting in the room could have been a little better.
