We liked the property fine as we have stayed in three rivers multiple times and this was all that was available last minute.

Beautiful location. I love the views overlooking the water out towards the mountains. So peaceful. Staff is super nice and welcoming. Pictures of the room are accurate. The bed was fine. Not as soft as I prefer, but I was able to sleep through the night, no issues. The room is not modern, but it is clean and welcoming after a long day in the mountains. AC works great. The pool is also nice. I think the best thing about the location though are the animals. Sheep, goats, cats, and dogs! Loved hanging out with the animals. Overall, it's a very cute place!
Featuring a restaurant, this lodge provides Kaweah River access to all guests. The entrance to Sequoia National Park is a 5-minute walk from the property.

Beautiful location. Out of the way in a good way. Very comfortable bed. The host thought of everything comfort wise. Loved the kitchen setup. The sauna feature was such a nice added amenity. Didn’t get a chance to do any of the hikes around the property but hope to be back.

We wished we could have stayed longer and explored the city.
We wished we could have stayed longer and explored the city. My wife and I love to check out coffee shops in the morning, but this place had several ways to make coffee including fresh ground espresso with creamers and such, so we were not for want.

Nice little community right outside the southern sequoia entrance. Perfect if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to stay with very nice people. The area has nice places for lunches, coffee, and gas but the nearest grocery store is at least 15 miles away.

The original room was horrible, I was stunned they would even offer it to us. Back door had air gap letting cold air in, no deadbolt on it. Old flooring in living room, carpet in bedroom was soaked. They moved us to another room, smaller, 2 beds. No apology or refund (they also overcharged us $30 for a 2nd night). I’ve attached pictures of the new room . Bathroom shower needs serious repairs and the ceiling is shoddily repaired. Ac/heater unit is ancient and loud. Only way to turn off bed light is to unscrew the bulb. Other bulbs are burnt out. It appears the hotel is hanging on by a thread. Should be banned from booking.com. Not up to standards by any means

Hotel has great potential but cleanliness of my room was a great disappointment. Even after raising our concerns they were not fully addressed.
Pizza place just down the road was surprisingly good.
Although the heart of Sequioa NP is only 30 miles away, it takes at least one hour because of a very steep, narrow and winding road. Elevation gain is over 4,000 feet.

It's a beautiful spot for one night. Unfortunately Sequoia Nat'l Park had a few road closures and much of the park was off limits.
We stayed and ate at the Gateway Inn which is close to the entrance.

Beautiful small town with tons of unique local joints to check out! Sadly we were only in the area for two days to visit the national parks, but I wish we had another day or two to check out the town itself. Everyone we met was super friendly and the food and drink options were refreshing after trekking around Sequoia and Kings Canyon all day.
From the pool to the hot tub to the delicious breakfast , everything was excellent.
My wife and I stayed 2 days , visiting Sequoia National Park on the first day and just taking a day to relax thereafter . We took the time to unwind after a hectic schedule just exploring the local area , dining in the local town and swimming in the pool
Our host, Lisa, kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast as we had to leave very early on our last day.
This B&B was easily the best accommodation during our 2 week holiday in California .
The Lazy J is well positioned for a visit to Sequoia. It really is like staying on a little ranch.Three rivers is as well a really cute little place and very beautiful.
We even managed to see a bear the day we we were leaving, although we were assured by the friendly housekeeping that this was a rare occurrence.
The swimming pool is very clean and a welcome cool down after a very hot day on our roadtrip.
The hummingbirds were amazing to watch
It's a nice motel. The room is decent - a nice shower, a fridge, memory foam (I think) mattress. All completely fine.
The best bit of the hotel is the restaurant and amazing views of the river. The restaurant is pricey and the food is good but not great. But the river is beautiful in the day and all lit up at night which makes it really magical so worth every penny.
If I have to... maybe location. One and only reason but not worth it as you would have to drive into the park and in the park anyway. The hotel needs to be flattened to the ground and rebuilt, then staffed with associates who would get at least an introduction into customer service; some decency and integrity will be a plus and a breath of fresh air into this place.
The fact that you had to check in using the restaurant was problematic. Also parking was an issue as there were few spaces for the hotel room but utilized by customers dining. We wanted to check out early but the restaurant was not open until 8 am and that was the only way to check out. No phone in the room to call for service or check out.
The cabin was comfortable. The location was nice-we took a walk along the river. The owner helped us with the t.v. She also gave us a map of how to get to King's Canyon and a list of restaurants and places of business/interest in Three Rivers.
Very close to Sequoia NP, which is why I booked this motel. It has a pool and a playground for little kids, so families might enjoy it. But we spent the whole day in the park, driving and hiking. Hotel was just to crash and sleep.
We felt very comfortable. The accommodation corresponds to the description. It is very well located, Sequoia National Park is about 10 minutes to drive. Mark is great host, always available, always helpful, well organized.
Beds were comfortable enough and I slept like a rock. Location is pretty close to park entrance - 10-15 min. Hotel is bare bones but does the job for a low price. Balcony with a valley view is a nice bonus.
Old style bungalow hotel so only had about 15 rooms (that I could see). Super friendly & helpful manager (?owner). Rooms were small but charming, warm, nicely decorated; easy parking.
Absolutely great food. Nice owner. Room was as expected. Biking lists hotel in Three Rivers, actually is Lemon Cove which is a few miles before Three Rivers.
