Our room was literally perfect. We had a lot of space and two bathrooms. The area surrounding the hotel has a lot of food options and everything is a really close drive. Owners were really nice and they made sure we had everything we needed

We usually go to Santa Maria/Orcutt about every 2 months to visit my sister & brother-in-law. We don't do alot of tourist-y things, but have been introduced to several really great places to eat (The Hitching Post in Casmalia for dinner, Kay's, or Jack's for great breakfast and/or lunch, to name a few) , and some super nice people who live and work there. Santa Maria/Orcutt is close to alot of popular beaches, so it's a great home base for a beach day (or two). We love to stay at The Wine Stone Inn in Orcutt for a relaxing and fun get away.

Parts of town can be deceiving as in you can't judge a book by it's cover. Good food, good shopping, great access to the beaches and great wineries abound in the area. We made it to the airshow which was a plus. All in all, we would return.

We were travelling up from LA to Monterey so tried to stop halfway. We actually kept driving back to Santa Barbara as it was more scenic. Pismo isn’t too far but wasn’t the greatest weather. Uber is good for food but cannot get an Uber taxi no matter how hard you try. Plenty of choice for food - loved ihop for breakfasts and Applebys is a must for dinner.

We enjoyed our trip very much.
We enjoyed our trip very much. Santa Maria Friday nights was a fun outside market just up from our hotel. Loved the flavors and live music. We were happy to be close to the coast also. We made a day trip to Pismo stopping by the Luffa farm. Also close for a day trip to Foxen wine trail and old town Orcutt area to explore. Santa Maria was very clean city and walkable plus many trail heads near by.
beautiful. modern, crisp clean decor snd super linens. terrific staff with lovely complimentary wine/beer and snacks during evening hours. we are SO glad we stayed here and in Orcutt. sampled four of the locals bats/restaurants, all just a few blocks walk from hotel. it is also on edge of this small historic district and easy driving access to dunes, Santa Maria proper, Foxen Road snd wineries. Bit pricey…and the breakfast pastries were delicious, just needed a savory choice (everything was sweet sweet)
This room was better then I expected. We were taking a road trip through California and this hotel happened to be on our way up the state. After hours of driving we landed here and we had the best stay. Room was very clean and cozy, the breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. This location exceeded my expectations. This was actually the best place we stayed in our 8 day road trip. We paid alot more for our other rooms compared to this one.
The staff is nice here at Solaire Inn and Suites. If I were to describe our stay at this inn in one word it would be "peaceful." We had no issues whatsoever. There may not be a pool here but there is a wonderful lawn with some beautiful trees and it all makes for a nice park-like setting. My children enjoyed having a big clean area to run around and get some sun outside.
Only stayed for a night.
The hotel looked nice from
the road and the garden
looked pretty too. The
weather was cold so there
was no chance to use the
pool.
The room was a bit dated,
but liked the new
tiles in the bathroom.
Really liked that the room
had big containers of good
quality soap, shampoo,
conditioner and lotion. This
saves lots of plastics waste.
The Wine Stone Inn exceeded all our expectations although the reviews were pretty great so we knew we were probably not going to be disappointed. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. The small details like the welcome basket and a personal note added to the entire vibe. We loved our stay and we're sure you'll love it too!
We spent one night in this hotel during our ride from San Francisco to LA and the stay was superb. The rooms are big and clean with all the necessary facilities and spacious bathroom. Big territory with free parking. The staff was really helpful. A good American breakfast is included. Good value for money!
We like this hotel because it’s clean, and quiet and there was a big area to sit and talk with other family members.it’s close to where my mother lives in Santa Maria. We like to watch the planes take off and land. They don’t have a free breakfast but there’s a restaurant on site that’s very good.
Stayed for one night, stopover on our way to San Diego.
The hotel is nice and clean. The breakfast was as expected (don't expect too much, american standard).
The hotel is located a little bit out of the way, so you need the car to have dinner.
The room was very clean and spacious. The check in was easy and the grounds around the hotel are beautiful and well kept.
It's in walking distance to shops and restaurants. Try Casa Manana if you love Mexican food. Absolutely delicious!
We did not want to spend a lot on a motel room as we were going to use it for one night on our way home to San Diego, Since I worked as a Manager of hotels it was very important that the room be very CLEAN. And It WAS.
Continental breakfast was an excellent & staff at hotel were very friendly yet gave us enough privacy space to us. Room was clean and comfortable. Area was very convenient to take out or eat out.
EV Chargers were easy to use (Chargepoint) -- were never busy. Hotel is quite new, and facilities were quite clean. Didn't hear street or freeway noise (ours faced away from the main street).
we had a lovely stay at the Santa Maria Inn. we have two dogs and the facility has a wonderful courtyard area with plenty of grass for the dogs. the staff was very friendly and helpful.
An enormous room with super amenities, big and comfortable bed. Nice hotel with a lot of features. Staff was friendly. Other eating options are nearby too.
