The location was great. Easy to get on highways to explore. I was there for a concert and could walk to the Exel Center and not deal with traffic there. I like the checkin and checkout option through the app on my phone. The room was clean and the blackout curtains were great!

Holiday Inn St. Paul Downtown, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Saint Paul

Located in the heart of St. Paul, Minnesota, this hotel is adjacent to the Xcel Energy Center, within walking distance to the Science Museum of Minnesota and the Roy Wilkins Auditorium.

The room was loud - I could hear people outside and in adjacent rooms and the hallway at all hours. The room was small and there was one window to a busy intersection.

Easy to get around the city.

Easy to get around the city. Streets are well signed and traffic did not seem to be too congested. We visited the St. Paul Grill at the St. Paul hotel and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service. The hotel is an historic building with the charm of the early 20th century hotels. Excellent ambience for a world class meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We really enjoyed making a walking tour around the historic downtown buildings. We also went up to Dayton's Bluff to view the city and park area. The historic homes around that area are really fun to see as well. We also spent a lot of time walking around Union Station. Such an amazing landmark. We ate breakfast at The Buttered Tin. Delicious!

The staff were people of color and the manger was black. For the area it's was actually very well kept. I love you see my people in lead position. Bathroom was nasty but everything has at least one shortcoming.

attended Wild hockey game and everything there was excellent. Very courteous employees. Beautiful city with good restaurant choices. Easy to get around. The Skywalk was a bit unnerving as about 5 minutes into our walk from hotel towards Xcel Energy Center, we encountered several "loiterers" enjoying their drugs, goofing around, partially blocking walkways. There was very little walking traffic and no sort of security that we saw. After 5 minutes we exited the Skywalk and walked the streets. This took place on a Saturday late morning and might be totally different on a weekday

Within walking distance to the hotel was a lovely park with an unexpected Thursday night concert. Food trucks, beer area and live music. Wonderful for a summer evening. Saint Paul Summit Street has lovely mansions and takes you by the Basilica. A nice laid back city.

This hotel is located downtown, a few minutes away from many colleges and universities in the Twin Cities. There is a grocery store, coffeeshop, and restaurants within walking distance. They offer a hot breakfast (included) and happy hour each night with a variety of snacks and drinks (included in price). The staff is friendly, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious. Highly recommend.

Hotel was great. Rooms could use fans to help with highway noise. Pool and hot tub were nice but rather small. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and we're very unimpressed with the quality of the food. For the price food should be better quality. Wings and tenders were not right. Breakfast food was good, but nothing to write home about, probably why it's free.

I was speaking at the Saint Paul River Center. The location of the Hampton Inn was close enough to walk, which is exactly what I wanted. The workspace within the room was PERFECT. There were good places to eat also very nearby. Having the little snack shop was an added plus. I will stay here again next year when I return.
