The location was quiet and quick to everything. The bed was comfy and unlike chain hotels that say they're dog friendly but won't let you leave your dog in their crate rocket inn does. And they have a whole dog kit ready for you with poop bags towels dog sheet and dog cookies!

We are in the process of buying some property in Elephant...
We are in the process of buying some property in Elephant Butte. Nice small town vibe, quiet, no traffic, and everybody waves to each other. Great fishing and water sports. Close to many historical sites and outdoor activities. Decent food options in T or C, although there are a couple restaurants in town.

Pillows were a little small. Fridge and microwave, both clean. View was great. I was the only person in the whole hotel. Felt very lucky to have such nice privacy. Easy access to nice walks. I enjoyed my stay. No restaurants available nearby on Monday or Tuesday. Had to order pizza, Pizza Hut delivered to my door.

I thought this was gonna be a fun overnight stay with having the restaurant, spa and pool with the lake view. Nothing was advertised about all that being shutdown or I wouldn’t of stayed. Landscaping and everything else has gone to the dumps.
