It's very hot and humid. I'm from Washington so I'm not used to that. Plan lots of indoor activities if you go in the summer. The park by the zoo is incredible and so is the arboretum. I went to visit family but you could easily make a short vacation of it. Last time I went I stayed at the giraffe sanctuary in McGregor. It was so wonderful! The richland mall is nice and they have some good restaurants. They also have some beautiful homes to drive around and see. I'd totally take a trip here for vacation but in October instead of June. The water park is super cool as well. You can surf and water ski or float the lazy river. It's very nice and the people working there are great!

It is encouraging to see new businesses growing and expanding. While Magnolia may be the attraction that draws visitors, there’s so much more to explore.
Some great new restaurants not just chain fast food,
Even a distillery with a tour and tasting!
Everyone was friendly throughout the city.
Great weekend getaway!

I was there as a part of a bodyboarding group attending a two-day session at Waco Surf. The activity was great, and the barbecue dinner we had at Rudy's in Waco was also outstanding. Otherwise, I spent no time in Waco itself.

It was cold and wet.
It was cold and wet. We were tired, hungry, and hadn't planned the stay. The first accommodation we stopped at was so pleasant and helpful, but they had no rooms. It was surrounded by eateries. The sweet cheerful lady helped us find another place to stay. Everyone else we met seemed as blase as we were. Must have been the weather. Maybe it was hunger. We were lacking places to eat close to the hotel.

There is nothing in Waco.
There is nothing in Waco. You can visit the Chip and Joanne things but cannot afford anything. You can visit the shops downtown and still cannot afford anything. Prices are too high and not much to do or see. Would not recommend going to Waco.
Hotel and room were very clean. Check in was efficient and staff friendly. We had a suite that has a separate room from the bedroom. Desk for working, couch, chair. Kitchen with a sink, refrigerator and microwave. No plates, utensils, etc. Breakfast included. Eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit, muffins, yogurt. Heated indoor pool, fitness room, business center, outdoor self parking. Hooters, IHOP, and chicken restaurant within walking distance. Conveniently located near highway 35. Bed was very comfortable.
We went for BU graduation, which is a little further from campus than the normal hotel but still close enough to hop in the car and get there in 15 minutes. Located right down the road from the Homestead Settlement which is a MUST visit spot for Waco. The property set up is really cool, room was huge, loved the set up with the couch area and kitchenette area. They have wine openers and glasses ready for guests! Lovely property and owners.
The house was very welcoming. The host provided some welcome gifts and snacks, thank you! The bedrooms were lovely, the bed comfortable. The shower was fine. The house looked for a great part like a 'fixer upper' project. The digital facilities worked fine. The property is located in a quiet area, not far from a park and a river walk. I enjoyed walking through the neigbourhood.
This place is truly wonderful!!!!! I am actually staying here as I write this review. CLEAN! BEAUTIFUL! BRIGHT! NEW! OUTSTANDING SERVICE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM! I can not say enough good things about our stay here. I am super picky when it comes to hotels and this place has exceeded my expectations. I could live here! I highly recommend if you are staying in Waco.
Breakfast was wonderful! Eggs, sausage, potatoes, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juices, coffee...lots of choices and nicely set out for guests to use. Eating area was spacious and comfortable, even some outdoor seating. VERY NICE and fairly new hotel located near lots of shopping and freeway access. Near sports complex and golf course. Highly recommend!
We liked everything!! The room was large and awesome (my kids treated over and over it was the coolest note we’ve been to). The hotel was clean, staff was kind, the location was great and overall it was wonderful. We’d stay here every time we’re near the area!!
The breakfast was great every morning, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were very nice.
This seems like more of a business class hotel, and it's perfect for that. When we weren't going to area attractions, we were comfortable staying in our room.
modern Hotel within walking distance to the Silos. Friendly staff, we got an upgrade to a suite as our standard room was not ready yet at arrival. Even got a bottle of wine as compensation for the waiting.
Very nice hotel. Breakfast was good. The outdoor pool was very nice! Not all comfort suites are created equal. This is the nicest comfort suite we stayed in. Excellent! Would stay here again!
The setup of the room was really nice! We enjoyed the big sofa and the large TV. The coffee in the room was wonderful in the morning! The yogurt was good on the breakfast.
The hosts were exceptional and very welcoming. The inn and room were very inviting and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. We would definitely stay there again.
When I arrive at the at the hotel in Waco, the desk told me that I did not have a room reservation with them because I did not make it them and that the hotel was full.
