The atmosphere of the hotel is lovely. Rooms have been renovated recently with the current owners trying to restore the original look of rooms. The bar and restaurant are wonderful, and it was very easy to order to-go since I had my dog with me. The best part of the hotel is the outdoor area with firepits. It's great to lounge and meet other travelers. The hotel is also a short walk across the bridge to the main city center. I would definitely recommend the Hotel Colorado to anyone wanting to stay in Glenwood Springs, especially with a pet.

I loved how warm the pool was and how centric the hotel was. There were multiple places to eat and activities to do nearby. The rooms were clean.
This Residence Inn is an all-suite hotel overlooking the Colorado River, and is 1 mile from the famous Glenwood Hot Springs. It features an indoor pool and a fitness center.

We enjoyed the downtown area under the bridge and the nice pedestrian walkway across the river. We were only there overnight so did not see much of the area. There is a large pool fed by hot springs you can enjoy if you so choose.

Glenwood Springs has multiple different hot springs to choose from, lots of activities to enjoy in and around the area, shopping and some great restaurants. One of my favorite restaurants there is The Italian Underground, but there is almost always a wait. Good things are worth waiting for, right? Surrounded by beautiful mountains, the convergence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado rivers and multiple other great places within 45 minutes, there is no shortage of options for fun to be had. The only bad thing about Glenwood Springs is that for a somewhat small town, traffic can be a bit frustrating at times.

I never heard of Glenwood Springs CO until I was researching stations on the Amtrak California Zephyr route. I found it. I saw mountains and the Colorado and Roaring Fork Rivers and saw it was a small town walkable all over with many hiking trails from town. I was sold even before I studied Glenwood Canyon. I am enchanted.

I'm still livid that the management would choose to subject guests to FOX news propaganda while visiting the lobby while checking in and eating breakfast. All those supporting the former treasonous insurrectionist lying criminal traitor do not belong in the hospitality industry.
I'm extremely offended.

Great town where real people live and work, not like the resort towns of Beaver Creek and Vail. We stayed as a mini-break during a longer ski vacation. The hot springs are a brilliant way to relax and enjoy the winter sunshine. Expensive to get in at $32, plus another $8 for a towel rental (Probably cheaper to buy one at Walmart!), but you can come & go all day if you wish. The vapour caves are quieter & more serene with a sad history of the white folks displacing the native Americans. You probably need to book in advance as they need to limit entrants to the caves - $20 for 2hr stay, including a towel!
Plenty of choice of restaurants and bars in town, all within walking distance. Easy drive to Glenwood Springs as the I70 (and railway line) go right through the middle.

Room was very small, smelled like mildew, air conditioner didn’t work, breakfast was horrible, beds were very old and hard and slanted towards the edges of the bed. The hot springs pool was wonderful and the staff there were friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Hanging Lake Inn for a single night. We booked the queen room with two beds online through booking.com. The check-in process was pretty easy. We checked-in late around 11:00pm after celebrating 4th of July. The office was closed but the reception had the key taped to the door with my name. The room was clean, big for 3 people. The hotel was close to the hot springs pool plus close to some restaurants. A good hotel for the low price.
I loved the antique furniture throughout the hotel and in the bedrooms. The historic pictures that were on display and the write ups were fascinating. My favorite was the old hotel register that is in the elevator. The hotel was beautiful. Staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. Room commendations were very nice and I slept well. I would recommend others to stay at the Hotel Denver.
We wanted to take the train and see the beautiful aspens and enjoy the hot springs. The hotel is located right across the street from the train station. The Glenwood hot springs were the main attraction for us and are also easy to get to from the hotel. We also enjoyed our clean and comfortable environment while we were guests at your hotel.
Glenwood springs Inn was fantastic! The rooms appeared to be recently updated and were spacious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was a short drive from Hanging Lake (I highly recommend going). We were within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend Glenwood Springs Inn
Close the gondolas, was too far to walk to downtown with kids but less than 5min in a car. Was close to the hot springs as well. The hotel is old, nothing to write home about but the front desk was friendly, its safe, they have a nice indoor pool and slide for kids and you could take the gondolas to Glenwood caverns
Ideally situated in central Glenwood Springs, near to all the major attractions and restaurants. Decent room, comfortable but no added extras that you sometimes find elsewhere, e.g. coffee, tea, and partially equipped kitchen. Free parking, friendly welcome and despite the location it was very quiet.
Always love staying at the Hotel Colorado, there's so much history, character, and ambiance in this old building. King suite was spacious and comfortable. Short walk over the pedestrian bridge to get to the downtown restaurants.
Breakfast was great. So was the location. Staff on checking in was ok. Night staff preferred to talk to one another rather than address our questions. Pool and hot tub were great.
Can’t complain about the located, nestled in the middle of Glenwood Springs. It’s close to fast food places and has a basic but decent breakfast. Room was clean and beds were comfy.
This hotel was super nice. Very clean, lovely room, great location (short pleasant walk to excellent restaurants and the hot springs resorts)Breakfast well above average.
The location was excellent. Restaurant food was excellent. Close to the hot springs. Very comfortable and relaxing. Better than a hotel for spending time with family.
The room looks very neat and clean. Breakfast was very good. Walking for a shorter distance plus very close to the Hot Spring Pool and Downtown Glenwood Springs.
