Breakfast would have cost $23 each person!!!! Way too much! We went to another restaurant. The bed seemed old and not very comfortable. Room was clean enough, but the price of over $200 was too much for that room

We loved Moose Creek Lodge. Very clean, rooms had recently been redone, great location. The owner Larry, went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience, was great to visit with and get advice on where to go and what to see while in Cody. We would definitely stay there again.

There are some very rude people in cody Wy.
There are some very rude people in cody Wy. They do not like tourists. They will cuss at you on the road , they will ride your bumper, yell obscenities to you. It's sad , with out tourists, cody wouldn't be what it is today. I used to love cody , until the residents started being more than rude to people from other states. If we stopped coming to cody, wondering how much of a ghost town would cody turn into.

I am from Wyo. and am in Cody frequently, so I can't really comment on length stayed. We are usually in Cody for things that "normal" travelers are not. We are here for sports, to see friends, and other such things.

I loved the location, the motel itself and the rooms were great. Couldn't ask for anything better and the value for the cost was fantastic. I had mixed reactions for the staff. The gentleman who checked us in for the evening was great. Seemed to go out of his way explaining things and getting us into the room we booked online. However, the lady working the desk in the morning double charged my credit card by mistake (according to her) but didn't attempt to fix the charge even though she knew she had made the mistake. The manager had to be called to make adjustments and I'm still waiting for the adjustment to be cleared after 4 days.

We were there toward the end of the season.
We were there toward the end of the season. Our purpose was to go to the Whitney Western Art Museum in the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. It actually had 5 museums and we went to four of them. My husband loved the Buffalo Bill museum. I did love the Whitney, but also the Natural History Museum. In addition, Cody is only 58 miles from the East entrance to Yellowstone, and the drive there is spectacular. We had not planned on going, but we did end up spending a full day there. Cody is definitely worth a stop.

Prices very high.
Prices very high. Got the impression people there liked you only for what you would spend. Very crowded. No place to eat because of the glut of people there. The Buffalo Bill Museum of the West was good. Enjoyable time spent there. The Chief Joseph Highway was awesome. Otherwise, the rest of this highly priced resort town is not for me. I will not return.
Room was very comfortable. Needs more lighting in the room. Breakfast availability was limited and we did not participate in the breakfast since we wanted a more substantial breakfast. Very clean and you park right in front of your room. Location was easy access for getting in and around the town of Cody. The pool and spa area looked nice but we did not use it. The property was very new looking.
It was a really great hotel. It was like a small museum. The kids enjoyed observing the taxidermy.
It is the best hotel. We highly recommend this hotel.
The heated pool is available for children until 10pm and adults until midnight. They also had equipment in place to enter the pool for caregivers. Excellent.
Sunrise Motor Inn is in a good position for people going/coming to Yellowstone Park east entrance. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast does not offer varieties, but usually, it is not even provided in motor inn hotels/motels, so it was more than expected.
Loved visiting this historic site. The hotel & restaurant will take you back in time, (western that is) Loved our room, it even had my maiden name on the door. The people were very friendly & loved to talk about the history. We enjoyed the hotel & Cody WY.
Staying in the hotel was an experience in itself! The authentic ambience and character was exceptional! We would definitely stay at the Chamberlin Inn if in Cody again. Breakfast was good and the proximity to town made such a short stay very convenient.
The breakfast was wonderful and the attendant was very good at keeping things full and clean. The front desk staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We really enjoyed out stay at this hotel.
The hotel is not a fancy place, but more than excellent private motel to stay for visiting the beautiful town of Cody. The staff is very friendly and the communication with us was perfect.
The lady at the front desk was very kind, the location was great. Enough parking spaces. Besides Yellowstone NP there are various possible activities around the hotel.
Location was great that we could pretty much walk downtown. The hotel breakfast area and lobby were very nice. I loved the fireplace warmth in the morning.
