It was easily accessible to connect with our start points while hiking on the Niagara Bruce Trail E2E( End to end) organized hike.
Our hosts were very helpful when we had questions and yet also allowed for privacy in their beautiful home.

A couple of nice restaurants (we enjoyed Tim Horton's and Donnelly's Pub), small, walkable, very pleasant town. Lots of construction on important roads while we were there, and detour signs aren't always accurate, so difficulty getting to Niagara and finding open entrance to QEW.

The lock system was what drew me to Thorold but I enjoyed the town itself as well. I had dinner at places near the historic town center: Donnelly’s pub, where I had a great lamb stew, and breakfast at Hana’s which was friendly with good food. I found some nice shops in that area as well and some lovely homes and parks.
The unit was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The furnishings were in very good shape. Bedrooms were of adequate size, not large. Two bedrooms had an ensuite bathroom, the other bedrooms had a separate shared bath. The area, fairly new townhomes, seem comprised of college age students. There are stores and restaurants in nearby Thorold and about a 30 min drive to NOTL.. We stayed the weekend to attend the ice wine festival and visit nearby wineries. Overall, we had a great stay and would come back again.
This Hotel was our only Option as our son studies in Brock Uni and there was no other Hotel vacant at this time of the year. The room had an amazing view of the Lock8, and green forests. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony.
There was a parking on site which was an advantage, the area was nice and quiet as the hotel is in a residential area.
The Hotel was very clean and hygienic. The photo of the Hotel and rooms do not do justice as it was a very well maintained property and we would love to stay there again.
The hotel rooms are spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable, the bathroom has obviously recently been updated. The location and balcony are ideal for watching the huge boats passing through Lock 7. The town of Thorold is charming. A special treat was discovering that on Friday evenings in the summer there is a “Ride Night” of vintage cars in the town centre.
The staff were pleasant and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the area.
One of the best hotel rooms I’ve stayed in the region. I loved the fact that the parking was for free and easy to find a spot even when we arrived at night. The rooms are very spacious, clean and it looks like they recently renovated as everything is modern and new.
The location in Thorold was very well placed to explore the Niagara region. The balcony that allowed for viewing the ships going through Lock Seven was great, and a very unique experience.
THis hotel CAN´T be on the hotel list provided by BOOKING, it is under a very bad process of re modeling the facility, reception, corridor, doors with dust and dirty, a real mess
The hotel clerk Girish went out of his way to help when I made an error in reservation dates. I very much appreciated his effort and kindness to ensure we had a nice stay.
