Old town is very much a tourist area, food is below average at most of the restaurants, pricey and service is lacking all around Scottsdale- pack your own snacks. Lots of art shops however they don't keep regular hours so many were not open.

This was an unplanned impromptu stay for 1.5 days between flights. We only had time to see the Botanical Gardens and the Heard Native American museum. Both were excellent! We would like to come back and explore the old town and other areas in the future.C&MUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

Beautiful resort , two really nice pool areas . The breakfast was satisfying and they have a really nice social hour that it also really engaging for the guest ! Rooms were nice and clean just a bit smaller and can use a few updates . On arrival and seeing the pool area I actually remembered that I'd stayed here before some years ago. I think it may have had some small renovations over the years. Everything about this hotel is fine for a short stay. Room was a good size, bed very comfortable and there's a fridge/freezer. The location is really good, very close to Tempe and downtown Scottsdale is only a short drive too. The area felt safe enough.
