The property, room and staff were great! It rained while we were there and our clothes got wet, property had washers & dryers avallable which was a lifesaver! We arrived by train and our bags were delivered directly to hotel. We were able to check in early and Jake noted my request for a quiet room location and was able to provide one, and also arranged to book us on a shuttle to take us to the nearby cruise terminal the fallowing day. The room was quiet and decorated tastefully in a coastal contemporary design.

Nice breakfast options. I found the beds comfy. Spouse did as well. Adult daughter claims she doesn't sleep well in hotel/motels. Shower was uncomplicated to work (unlike some places we stayed), and the shower head was nice.

The hotel was beginning renovations, we were the only ones in the hotel. The room was clean, but the hallways were not.

I've been visiting Seward for 30+ years so I might be a little bias. Seward is a sleepy little town with lots of restaurants, bars, churches of all denominations and the people there are usually warm & inviting. It's nestled between breath-taking mountains and Resurrection Bay. There's plenty to see & do regardless of what your interests might be. The people are friendly and you always meet folks from near & far. Such a sweet little town. It's crazy busy during the summer and it quiets down in the fall. The fishing is usually pretty amazing and some of the restaurants serve a fresh catch of the day! There's quite a few local artists and it's a lot of fun looking over their designs. Lots of jewelry and paintings and the lists go on & on. We love Seward and will continue to visit as often as we can! Ray's is a fan favorite! Great ambiance and the food is usually right on time!! The Sea Life Center is amazing, as are the day cruises!

Seward is a town located on the Kenai Fjord National Park. The town is not big but has some fantastic scenery and fun things to do (Kenai Fjord boat cruise for one)
I also went to the Sea Life center for half a day. Hiking is always an option. Fishing is a BIG attraction - pricey but you come back with nice fish.
There is a free shuttle (though signs are faded and hard to find) Still you can walk most places in the city which is what I did.
Good seafood restaurants.
Cruise ships often docked there.

Hiked to the local glacier. Nice easy hike. Would have liked to go on a boat to explore the fjords but didnt get there early enough for the 6 hr tour. Would have liked to see the animal rescue facility but they stopped letting you in at 5 pm. Needed two days there.

My wife loved the dryland dog sled ride she had booked at Seavey's Ididaride. The Aquarium was nice, bit expensive though. The ride down from Anchorage was nice, Until we hit the construction area just before Seward. That happens.

Exit Glacier is great as is the road leading to the glacier as it has dates of the glacier retreating marked with signs. Glacier has been documented retreating for over 100 years!
Free shuttle bus is great for getting around town. Stops at all the important areas as well as the cruise port, very convenient.
Tough getting a taxi (it was for us anyway). ONLY taxi we had luck with was Aunt May's, she answered her phone and was on time!

Really beautiful location on the road up to Exit Glacier. The Windsong was an ideal stay to explore Seward, Resolution Bay, the Kenjai Fjords National Park. A very relaxing and peace stay - the room was huge, very comfortably appointed with a large balcony that overlooked the woods really made it feel like you were immersed in nature. The Resurrection Roadhouse restaurant was excellent.
A historic building right in the centre of Seward, makes this a convenient place to stay. Has all the essentials but nothing more. The continuing works to update the rooms and communal space will make this better as tome goes. The history on the walls as you pass down halls are a nice touch.
The location and view of the snow covered mountains was awesome. Debra was a wonderful host and her attention to supplies and amenities she provided was over the top. I highly recommend this property as an excellent place to stay in Seward.
Terrific location to explore Seward. Warm welcome received from reception and allowed up to store bags pre and post checkout. Simple but Cozy unit (# 6) slept 4 adults comfortably. Spotlessly clean.
