The location on Mont St Michel cannot be beat. Just as you walk through the gates the hotel is on the left. The rooms were nice and shower was great.

Absolutely wonderful location. Right inside up to the right. Check in was easy. The ladies there helped us make arrangements for the next day. After the crowds left it was wonderful, easy to go exploring. It was nice to have a place to go for a warm shower and bed after all those stairs! Asked for room with the view. We couldn't stop laughing when we saw our "view". A moldy wall! 🤣 But we knew when we booked this was an old facility, with old lodgings. We didn't have high expectations. So we weren't disappointed. For one night stay, this will do.

Location was perfect to look around Mont st Michel. 30mins by walk, 5-10mins by shuttle. Room was big enough for 4 of us. Kids loved their loft area. Need to pay €10 for parking.

So great to be able to stay right on the causeway! The hotel and staff are great. Our only concern is that on a very hot day the absence of air conditioning would be felt -- but does it ever get really hot at Mont- St.- Michel? In any case, we'll be back!

Nothing great to write about the stay. Very basic small room. Check-in check-out was easy with friendly crew for the hotel. Clean bathrooms, however there was no liquid soap/gel in the bathroom. Window Curtains was not covering the window plus it had come off the hooks. This is a fixable issue that maintenance crew did not take care of.

Incredible location right next to the Abbey. The most charming cottage with exceptional views.

We followed travel advice and arrived very late in the afternoon. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at a restaurant just after the entrance to the island and then climbed the stairs to our accommodation. The island was quiet and peaceful as all the day trippers had gone. In the morning we enjoyed an early breakfast at the restaurant and were ready to enter the abbey at 9 AM with only a small group of people. Upon leaving the crowds were growing as we had heard they would, and we were glad we followed the advice we had been given. Take time to explore all the passageways and the cemetery. Be warned that you will climb literally hundreds of steps.

A magical place best viewed in early morning or late afternoon evening. Otherwise, there are a lot of tourists clogging the narrow medieval streets. I recommend an overnight stay to fully enjoy this place.

This is an iconic location to visit.
This is an iconic location to visit. But like many tourist experiences, it is drifting a little into theme park territory. The abbey is many years past being used in a religious context (in part because it was converted into a prison by Napoleon after the revolution). So the cathedral has lost some of its soul. But the history is rich, and the location is amazing. The views are wonderful, and after the tourists have left for the day, the island is well worth exploring.

The Abbey tour itself was nice, but the mob we had to struggle thru to get there was a nightmare. And when we were done with the tour? Wall to Wall humanity. As if they dropped Euro Disney into the middle of the medieval walkways. We were here the first week of May, before the U.S. tourists even started arriving. I cannot imagine how awful this would have been with even more people. This is a magnificent place, well worth seeing ... FROM A DISTANCE. The walkways to the Mont were utterly jammed with people, and after a 40 minute wait the shuttles were stuffed like sardines. STAY AWAY! (Or maybe go in February or something). Take a photo from a distance and KEEP ON DRIVING.

The shuttles from the hotel complex are free and run every 10mns or so. It's also a lovely 2km walk from the hotel if you want to avoid the packed shuttle.
Don't bother spending a fortune on the hotels as they're all in the same place and are all about the same really.
The restaurant Le Pré Salé is the best and is a must if you're into good food. Book early though!
I recommend going in the evening to the mont st michel after 3pm when crowds start to leave. We went around 12pm and it was very busy despite it being a Monday mid season.
The self guided audio tour is great and well worth it.
And food is outrageously expensive in the Mont village and really not so good. Best bring a picnic and save your money for a nice restaurant in the evening.
All this said, a fabulous day out!

Mont St Michel is wonderful to visit.
Mont St Michel is wonderful to visit. The accommodation however was very poor and in an annex which was hard to find. The room was small and in very bad condition. Light switch hanging off the wall, tv and bedside lights did not work and space very limited. We had to persuade the restaurant staff that we had prepaid for dinner! Would certainly pick another hotel if we returned, which we won’t.

Thé best location for visiting Mont St Michel without actually staying on the island. Very comfortable room with stunning view of Mont St Michel, with the ability to sit either inside or outside comfortably to take in the view. Easy access to walkway and shuttle bus as well as other restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, also with stunning views.
very very close to the place for the mount saint michel. its the best option for one or two night maximum. the mirror from the room is with the mountain. small, but confortable room. the breakfast was in another hotel nearby and its was amazing.
Loved being in the Auberge St Pierre within the walls of Mont St Michel. It was magical to be on the island once all the tour buses left for the day, we could stroll along the quiet streets and imagine the lives of previous residents.
One can see Le Mont Saint Michel from the room window. It takes around half an hour by foot to reach it, but there is also a free bus that stops just in front of the hotel and takes you there. The restaurant is good.
It was great to stay overnight inside Le Mont Saint Michel and enjoy walking around at late night and early morning. Location of the hotel was great and very easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The young man who checked us in was very helpful. We also appreciated the good communication from the hotel. Breakfast was good. Location can't be beat. It is worth it to stay on Mont St. Michel.
Clean and functional hotel near to the stop of the navette which brings you in seven minutes to the Mont Saint-Michel. Parking directly at the hotel, good French breakfast with real espresso.
Staying on the island was great. The views from the room were very cool and it was so nice to be able to walk the quiet pathways of Mont Saint Michel at night.
