Very nice common areas. Our group enjoyed the cafe and bar in the evening. Room was clean (minus the drain in our shower which was promptly cleaned. Would have been nice to have received some form of credit for the trouble as many others probably would not have been as nice as I was.) Location of hotel was convenient and safe.

wasn't there long. only for a few days, overall, it was ok, but nothing too exciting to see or do here. unless you are there on business, it's not a place to live on a daily basis. You will get bored over time. The Yacht club had good food.

The hotel room was very dirty and dark. Only the bed light was working, and the bathtub in the bathroom was so covered with black grime that I didn't even want to shower. There is even one place to plug in electricity.
For a hotel like this to be called America's best, it would cause enormous damage to hotels with the same name. I never want to stay at an American Best Hotel chain hotel ever again.

I arrived late to the property.
I arrived late to the property. I was able to check in around 8pm. I went to go grab something to eat for dinner and arrived back at the property right around 1030pm and wanted to get to bed. When I went to back to the room my key didn't work. As I was about to head back to the front desk, a lady(guest) and the front desk worker were walking toward me. She asked if this was my room and I told her yes. My key isn't working. She had a key on her that appeared to be the other guest key. When I went into my room, about 2 minutes later the front desk called and asked me to come down and that we don't have you signed in. When I arrived at the front desk, the issue was resolved. From my observation however, the lady guest must've been assigned my room, went to the room and saw that another person was assigned to their room. It was very disappointing that in a barely 2 hour time frame that my key didn't work, that these issues came up without me not even being at the property and that possibly another guest could've been in my room. I checked to see if anything was stolen and nothing was stolen THANKFULLY!!!
Oh and the Wi-Fi did not work at all.

We visited for family functions and Livonia was centrally located for us. If you are visiting for tourism, it is recommended that you stay closer to the tourist place(s) you intend to visit, as there are no touristy things to do in Livonia, and I grew up in the area. The location on the I-96 expressway is convenient and there are numerous dining and discount shopping options within a short drive.

This property is one of the most broken down, unclean and worn out ones I have ever stayed in over 50 years of travel.
It was way overpriced as well
This property needs a total face lift. The carpets are filthy and twenty years old. The furniture and fixtures are outdated and barely working.
Only one elevator was working, which made moving about the hotel a disaster.
The breakfast set up was substandard and the restaurant was mediocre at best
Keycard maker was broken Front desk person told me that he couldn’t let me into my room. I tried to book a room elsewhere, but their WiFi wasn’t working. I had to ask another guest to help me get online. Front desk guy finally got a new master key, so he let me in. He told me that he would give me $20. off, but I had to contact Bookingcom.. Next day mgr. told me the same thing. As this was the hotel’s issue, they should have refunded $20. on the spot; ridiculous!
The location is perfect for the properties I needed to tour and tenants I needed to go visit for all the properties we own in Detroit. My company is an owner/managed Industrial portfolio and I will be coming to visit these properties often and will be staying at your hotel when I return.
The room had dead flies at inside windows and sticky substance splashed over one wall. Also, the cement was crumbling on outside porch on the third floor, this is dangerous. Moved out of room and Cancelled reservation but hotel will not refund money that was paid in full at check-in
The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they let me check in early with no problem or extra fees. The area felt safe and it was very quiet.
I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the hotel was because I thought your hotel was too expensive for me the Marriott is very classy and I got a chance to stay in a classy hotel😁😎. So thank you
The hotel was very comfortable and convenient. The staff were also very pleasant and professional. I enjoyed breakfast and coffee. Even during Covid, I felt comfortable and safe at this location.
The staff is nice, hospitable, and attentive. The weekly rate is great for the location to comparable hotels in the area, and there are a few. It is quiet. You can pay by cash or credit.
I literally liked everything about the hotel. The staff was amazing & very helpful. I traveled with a small child & her needs were met as well. Definitely will be staying here again.
