Our stay at Barolo Apartments was memorable. From check-in to check-out Gianni and his staff made it easy and quick. We arrived in Barolo and our baggage was still in Amsterdam. The airline failed us. Gianni made us comfortable telling us it happens often and we will probably have our baggage by the next day. That was comforting. He told us that since we would be out touring he would sign for bags and put them into our rooms himself. We were so happy to see them there when we returned from our first full day of touring; Gianni had kept his word and made us quite happy. The rooms (we had 2 separate rooms) were nicely decorated and comfortable. They were clean and well cared for. Having the owner operate the Enoteca below the apartments was convenient. Gianni has a nice selection of local wines and is quite knowledgeable about restaurants, wineries and enotecas. He was always willing to help us out as we were trying to navigate this new and amazing place (for us).
I highly recommend Barolo Apartments.
I hope to visit again in the future.

We loved the location and the room. I recommend to go in the spring until the fall. In the winter there is a lot of the stores and restaurant close for the winter.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the hosts. It was a big bedroom with a big and new bathroom. Everything was extremely clean. We had a free visit of their small winery and a taste of their wines all for free. Hosts were speaking enough French and English so we managed to understood everything and to chat with them.
The breakfast was amazing. Fresh out of the oven there was a delicious figs (from their garden) crostata and 2 other types of cakes homemade, served warm. Coffee was made on order, espresso or cappuccino. There was an assortment of local cheeses and dry sausages, fruits, cereals, yogourt, juice, etc.
It was super well located, close to Barolo, La Morra, Montforte d'Alba, etc. We had an awesome view of the mountains and the sunset. The hosts made all the difference in the world, we felt welcomed and we regretted we could not stay longer.

A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region.
A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region. We started in Asti & then Turin. Its great to get out of the city and see "real" Italy, garnished in grapes ready to harvest. I felt like I was in a fairy tale. Barolo was a great town to be in and biking was phenomenal there.

Nice, tiny, idyllic village albeit too touristic and (consequently) overpriced wines in the several wine stores. You'll presumably get same products cheaper at your home country! Suggest to make arrangements to visit the manifold wineries instead.

Beautiful wine area, great if you like driving through vines on twisty-turny hairpin roads - we do! The Ristorante Brezza at the Hotel di Barolo is the best place to eat, with a fabulous wine list and La Cantinetta was also good. Barolo is a place to go to if you love wine, local food & vineyards. If you want nightlife and activities, you'd be better off elsewhere.

Nice village, however we liked La Morra and Monforte d'Alba a loo little more.
Prices at the wine tasting were a ribb-off, Monforte d'Alba has a similar place with reasonable tasting as well as bottle pricing.
The town Alba is also worth a visit.
Cà San Ponzio, a beautiful country house managed by two welcoming brothers, exceeded my expectations in every way. The prime location near Barolo made it a perfect base for exploring the area. The facilities were fantastic, providing everything one could need, from a delightful breakfast to a well-stocked wine cellar and enjoyable aperitivo. The hospitality extended by the brothers created an inviting and warm atmosphere throughout my stay. I highly recommend Cà San Ponzio for a truly memorable and enjoyable experience.
beautifully located and walking distance to Barolo town which you can view from your unit window. Antonella was extremely accommodating and the space feels like a mini bed and breakfast (kitchen area was huge if you’re the type inclined to cook but she provides breakfast snacks and staples) Accommodations in this area are extremely difficult to find, but if she does have availability, don’t hesitate because if you have a car, fantastic wineries, viewpoints, and restaurants are under 10 min in any direction.
This holiday home is perfectly located at the edge of Barolo. The outside space is amazing, looking out over the wine fields. The home itself is much more spacious than we expected, and very clean and well equipped. Barolo is in walking distance, and several hiking trails also start here. Finally and most importantly, the hosts Francesca and Federico are amazing, making sure every need is met and ready with many excellent recommendations for sights and restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!!
Daniela and her daughter go out of their way to make your stay comfortable in Barolo! Our room was very clean and cozy with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Breakfast in the morning was hearty and homemade, and we especially appreciated the coffee machine to make a cup whenever we wanted. We would definitely stay with Daniela again when we're in the area!
We spent two wonderful nights at this guest house. Beatrice was extremely friendly and helpful. She provided an amazing yummy breakfast both mornings and had some great suggestions for eating and aperitif's. The location was very convenient to winery's and sightseeing. If we ever go back to Barolo, we would definitely stay here again.
This is a perfect gem of a place to enjoy a stay. The hosts are charming and the apartment has been beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, great shower, we had everything we needed. They make very good wine here and the centre of Barolo is just a short walk with lots of restaurants.
We loved our room with the balcony overlooking the town plaza and gelato shop. The wine shop and little store with cheese, meat and bread was a bonus! The walk to the breakfast room one morning revealed a small market with local specialties. Barolo is a beautiful town and of course there is the wine….
The place is great, the host is great. When there was sudden rain, Francesca called and asked whether we would need any help. Spacious and well decorated apartment with good vineyard view. Good kitchen facilities. Walking distance to Barolo centre.
Very central, all Barolo bars and restaurants at walking distance, free public parking in front of the main square. New and modern. Good double bed. Easy access with code, keyless. Barolo castle view
The rooms and property were beautiful clean and comfortable. The family was WONDERFUL! The food was incredible! Will definitely be back. One of our absolute favorite places to stay in Italy!
Nice local winery and bnb in the center of Barolo with the host offering tasting and explanation of his wine. Friendly after a not very accommodating argument right on arrival.
Perfect location in the heart of Barolo town. if you have a car, even better with the local parking lot or garage below the apartment. The host was great and very responsive.
Barolo is a nice village to visit wineries and to start bicycle tours. The owners helped us a lot, because we had some troubles with our car. Thanks again for that.
Amazing location near Barolo. The yellow house is very comfortable and the views from the balcony and rooftop deck are exceptional. We loved our three night stay.
