Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days.
Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days. There are some good restaurants and bars in the center of the town, serving nice traditional dishes in good prices. Nearby Latsi beach is well organised, offering all the amenities someone can expect (lifeguard, changing rooms, toilets). Polis can be used as the base for exploring the area and particularly Akamas peninsula. Highly recommended to 1st time visitors to the island!Guest review byDimitrisCyprus - 6.0
I liked that it is in a quiet area.
I liked that it is in a quiet area. But be careful, it is on a hill, you will definitely need a car. We didn't like that it wasn't clean, there were cockroaches in the kitchen, the toilet was dirty, it has a kitchenette but you have to buy everything from salt to oil, you also have to buy toilet paper and shower gel, only hand soap is provided.Guest review byOana - 10.0
Neo Chorio and the surrounding areas with Akamas National...
Neo Chorio and the surrounding areas with Akamas National Park is just stunningly beautiful. Honestly, I have never seen such gorgeous blue sea, and picturesque rocky seaside. I underestimated Akamas and thought could be hiked in a couple of days, but it is massive and it is just simply put an amateur hiker's dream. Not too hard to climb and walk around, but still enough of a challenge. Rocky cliffs going up, and open view of a huge portion of the north-western part of Cyprus, with lush greenery and hidden paths on the inner side (that doesn't look out onto the sea). The area in Neo Chorio is well-kept and neat and it's wonderful to walk through even on car roads. Tip: March to June or September to November seems to be the best time to visit Cyprus. I would be cautious with the sun, as some areas are rather open without much shade.Guest review byTimea IrénHungary - 8.0

We had a fantastic 10-night stay at this apartment in Aphrodite Hills, Cyprus. The space was clean, spacious, and beautifully modern—exactly what we were hoping for. One of our favorite parts was the balcony, which offered stunning views and made for the perfect spot to relax at any time of day. Despite our late arrival at 2am, gaining access to the property was incredibly easy, which made a great first impression. We did have a small issue with the WiFi during our stay, but the host was quick to respond and resolved it efficiently, which we really appreciated. Overall, a wonderful place to stay—comfortable, well-located, and with excellent service. Highly recommended!Guest review byStephenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Excellent location and quiet for the busy time of the year we visisted. It was not so hot and humid and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Also a very short drive to the beach and nearby interesting villages. There was an excellent tavern in Droushia and many excellent eating places in nearby villages. We enjoyed this part of the island very much and this village was an excellent choice. I would strongly recommend for families.Guest review byEfrosiniCyprus - 10.0

First thing you need is transport, even though the nearest shop was a short drive 5 mins approx. You are on the side of a hill. it not possible to walk to the large shops. It is only a 10min. drive to the Kings area of Paphos with shops and restaurants. The Tomb of the Kings a great venue, is best visited on the coolest day if possible, great area for the kids to explore, but take plenty of water.Guest review byMultimuddlerUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It was mid March and so out of m ain season but plenty of restaurants open and a good choice, especially if you loke sea food. Perhaps a bit pricey compared to other places. Lachi good place for exploring the area by bus and within walking distance of Polis along the coast.Guest review byBryanUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Keep in mind that it is a remote and quiet area.
Keep in mind that it is a remote and quiet area. The only (comfortable) way to get there is by car, so renting one is a must or very highly advisable. The beach is a bit rough and covered with pebbles, like most beaches in Cyprus, but you can still find couple of sandy spots for an easy entrance. You will be there alone most of the time. It felt however that some works are/were under way to make it a bit more "touristy". There are couple of small shops in the are but I would recommend passing by LIDL in Limassol or Paphos on your way from the airport to stock up major groceries for your stay. You may still buy ice-cream, pepsi and bread in the local shops at twice the normal price :-) P.S. Sunsets are simply fantastic.Guest review bySimakinGermany - 4.0

The best thing about the apartment was that it was near to The nightlife. Unfortunately the apartment was very poorly equipped no sunshade on the Veranda and was too hot to sit out without. Veranda light broken, I stayed for two weeks and had to ask for clean bedding in the kitchen poorly equipped and some of the dishes were chipped, last but not least and the door handle to the apartment fell off was very disappointed with the apartment.Guest review byJanice
