The staff here is wonderful! We had a bad sleeping experience with our room in a different hotel the prior night. Coach House Inn staff gave us a room in a very quiet part of the motel which had a wonderful bed and comfortable surroundings. We loved that we could park our car right at our door which made moving in and our so much easier.

Springfield MO is full of homeless individuals and vagrants, there everywhere, every street corner, laying down sleeping in the various gas stations parking lots and camping out behind some of the hotels...we were also told that the mayor of Springfield has been bringing the homeless in by busses for what rhyme or reasosn I don't know.

We had a room booked in advance but was told when we got there they were overbooked but they could put us in a handicap room. It wasn’t what we excepted but accepted the room. The breakfast had good choices to choose from. The people at the front desk was very nice. The hotel was dated but was fine for an overnight stay

There are restaurants galore. This is a big, big city.
There are restaurants galore. This is a big, big city. It's no metropolis, but it's big in size. It can take a while to get from place to place. We really enjoyed the aquarium at Bass Pro Shop. They told us it was a 3 to 4 hour exhibition and we were wrong not to believe them. Downtown is adorable. Very trendy bistros and ice cream parlors. Very cool (although somewhat pretentious) coffee shops. I could go on but you just have to see it for yourself. I won't mention Branson which is just a short drive away.

My key card didn't work when we first checked in and I had to walk all the way back down with all my luggage to get one that worked. It didn't work again later that night when I returned to my room and had to go back down and have it re-programmed. I was also charged $150 deposit and I have stayed there several times and that has never been done before so was a little frustrated with that. The rooms are nice and clean I was just super frustrated with the key cards not working properly. I come to Springfield often and stay here as it is close to my grandkids.
Nothing the place I stayed was horrible. When I checked in the man acted like I was an intruder. The key did not work in the first room, I had to go back and get a new key that did not work when I went to tell him he acted likei was really bothering him. Finally I got a key that worked at first. It stopped working the second day and had to go down AGAIN to get a new key. The room was OK.
I would not recommend this place it horrible with horrible service.
The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Pets are allowed at this hotel and when we went to our room, before we even put the key card in the door some yippy little dogs started barking from the room next door and we knew it would be a problem. We explained we were traveling with two very tired and fussy kids who needed their sleep. They were very understanding and moved us to a secluded room on the second floor with no dogs around.
The location was great, just a mile from my appointment. The room size was very nice. Much bigger than a regular hotel room. I chose this location for safety. I was traveling with my daughter and granddaughter so I wanted to make sure they would be safe where we stayed. I did not use the kitchen but everything that would be needed was there. Very nice.
They're restoring it after it was allowed to become quite rundown. The rooms have been somewhat updated. The halls and rooms have been repainted, and it no longer smells musty like it used to. They're working to keep the homeless people out of sight while being compassionate about it. North Springfield has a significant number of homeless people.
It was a privilege to stay in this beautifully restored classic motel.
It is situated on directly on Route 66 in Springfield. The room was very comfortable with plenty of hot water readily available. It was good to have a selection of snacks to go with the coffee machine. I particularly liked the retro style fridge and radio.
It is a unique place. The house is 130 years old, all in Victorian style. If you are expecting a modern hotel, this is not the place. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Myra was super nice, showed us the chapel and gave us a lot of advise, what to see in Springfield.
Breakfast- Spa in the room- nice location- it's a great little hotel right in the middle of springfield- we couldn't have asked for a better time- it was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful- they got us everything we needed-
We flew into the Springfield airport at 1 in the morning, was very nice that they offered shuttle service to the hotel at that time in the morning.
Rooms were clean and quiet; breakfast was very good the next morning.
If you put this hotel in another location, it would be perfect! This iconic, single story hotel has been kept very clean, updated and staff is excellent! Well groomed and doesn't feel like a typical "chain" hotel.
Hotel was clean. Only able to get up in elevator only by scannig our room key first was a good security feature. Only able to get to our room thru a security door once up on our floor was a good security feature.
Only stayed one night. Did not experience anything worth while to mention that was likable. Manager did try to compensate for dirty room but only if I signed up for the rewards program through the hotel.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good with a variety of items to choose from. The hotel staff was friendly and cheerful. The hotel had everything we needed.
