The Staff was amazing a gentleman named Donnie and a woman named Miranda…They both treated us great and were super awesome with my son! Our first room had a problem with the toilet and they were absolutely amazing about getting our room switched and helping in anyway they could to transfer our bags to the next! They always greeted us with a smile on their face and always made the stay comfortable!

I'm always just passing through for a night on my way to Chicago from Boston, but I do get to go into town. There's a great bar/restaurant called Room 33 Speakeasy; excellent choice of beverages and food. For lighter fare head to Lucky Louie's for some superb gourmet hotdogs. In the morning head downtown to the Tipsy Bean or Ember and Forge for some good coffee.

We went in the deep of winter to experience the lake and do some hiking. Erie Bluffs State Park and Presque Isle State Park were really nice without people and bugs of summer. Everyone we met was very nice and welcoming. I loved the multi-ethnic vibes, food places, neighborhoods, and waterfront of Erie. I was invited to attend an Eastern Orthodox service at a cool little church on Sunday morning as I walked around some of the older neighborhoods. The people and the church were beautiful. The Maritime Museum and walking by the working ship yards was very cool.

We travel to Erie previously quite a few times there was our first time staying at this hotel had I had more time off work I would have liked to stay longer maybe not at this hotel itself. Me and my spouse took our kids to Splash Lagoon which was excellent very tiring we ate at Smokey Bones which was amazing everything was real close to the hotel which was good. I would just recommend that hotel stating that there's no microwaves in the room.

We loved Presque Isle.
We loved Presque Isle. We spent some time walking the trails. The layout of the city is good, so you can find your way around easily. The zoo was a disappointment. You can tell, they are working on it but it still is a sad situation.

We were lucky and had beautiful weather.
We were lucky and had beautiful weather. So we spent most of out time outside at the Presque Isle recreation areas, eating outside, etc. If we had not been so fortunate we would have visited the Maritime Museum and the Art Museum and other places of interest to us. There are also so many great eateries, and in a 4-day visit like ours we could only sample a few.
The staff was amazing. They understood we were from out of town and have a family member in the hospital that was in a day by day situation. They allowed is to extend our days. Very caring and respectful. Maids came in to take out the trash and deliver clean towels. The buildin is old and beautiful with a lot of charm. I love old hotels! And the parking garage is cool too. It's conveniently located to restaurants and convenient stores. For the price, you can't beat it. The customer service is what made our experience wonderful.
The employees were very nice, respectful and friendly. The gentleman who checked us in gave us an upgrade to a room with a hot tub as soon as we got there which was very nice, Although he was not aware of it this it was our anniversary and one of the first things we have been able to do without kids or grandkids we are raising that was with just us 2. There is so much that is so accessible from your hotel as well, I loved that we could do an unlimited amount of things and drive only 15 minutes away.
The hotel was so clean and organized. The rooms are very spacious, and the bed was amazing. I liked the location, close proximity to a couple restaurants and gas stations but also it is set back a bit.
The hotel is located right off of the interstates...about 15 minutes from Presque Isle and the same distance to downtown Erie.
Breakfast was decent, I could hear other guests chattering who were staying longer and it seems like they vary the breakfast through the week.
Beautiful hotel right by the lake! The view from our room was amazing. We were right by the lake and you even felt like you were on a cruise. The hotel's restaurant was delicious. The bar had good drinks and service everywhere was excellent. The hotel is within walking distance to other rooftops and restaurants. Perfect place to stay for a weekend and just enjoy Erie. Would highly recommend it. It has a parking garage right next to the hotel.
Breakfast - awesome! Front desk employee, Emily - amazing! Some problems w/our suite - moved us immediately to a different one. Everyone was super friendly. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Erie-Summit Township! Given the present state of all industries experiencing issues w/getting employees, this staff, although somewhat limited was incredible!
The bed was very comfortable, nice pillows, room was clean, housekeeping was excellent, no perfume smell which there was in the last couple of hotels we have stayed in. All staff were friendly There was a nice hot breakfast in the mornings and coffee made at all times.!! We will be back for sure!! It's the best we have stayed in for a while and very good value.
We traveled from Utah to Maine, and this was our favorite hotel along the way. The staff was beyond friendly, our room was large, and there were plenty of breakfast options. Best of all, they had no problem with my mastiff staying. The staff loved seeing my sweet, giant pup. I would gladly stay again.
Nice size pool for the kiddos. Ordered pizza and wings from Erie Brewing just down the street. Got some slack from the staff about pizza and drinks at the tables by the pool (no glass) whatever, did it anyways. Was a very enjoyable evening. Up early, good hotel breakfast and off to our day.
Great location. Close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel was meticulously clean and the rooms were modern and comfy. Love the kitchenette and the size of the fridge. The staff was super friendly as well. Great hotel for families. Our favourite chain by far!
The hotel is new. Room is very clean. All amenities are functioning well. Great view of marina and the lake from room windows. Great breakfast options. Friendly receptionist and breakfast attendants.
The room and facilities were very clean. The staff was very polite and the guests were very friendly as well. We would love to return back to this hotel for a future stay.
