The beach is spectacular, and the estuary is perfect for families with small children. The town is quiet, pretty and not over-developed - and the people are friendly to visitors. Not a lot is open at night, but during the days the cafes, eateries and shops are great. It's not a place to go if you're looking for entertainment, but for an old-fashioned beach holiday, it's perfect.Guest review byJosephAustralia - 10.0

The room was great with aircon, fan and a small little kitchen, that it was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The wifi did not work all the time and it was slow. It would be great to have a small clothes airer at the back balcony for when we come back form the beach. The towels were changed every day, but I wold like to have asked about it, to be more environmentally friendly. The piano was a real surprise and would have loved a music book to play. The beds were all very comfortable and the reading lights were welcomed. There was a great selection of good books and some games. Pottsville has plenty to offer the traveller and was quite busy the days we were there.
